Complaining about, CAOD forum new rule ?

The Kadeshi	Posted - 2008.10.26 11:36:00 - [1] hey, just wane know how many out there have been blocked of CAOD becouse of the new rule and actualy are good posters. i know there are a lot of alts out there and CAOD is a mess i agree but alt posters will just create a 10 man alt corp and keep on posting. and the real small allys cant anymore. well ill be the first. to complain. iam part of kadeshi, a small ally fighting a big one. we have 45 members and we have been part of the ally tourney. i recently kicked out a bunch of inactive corp members and my corp is now 8 big. thanks! :P --- Somebody needs a hug!

The banning of 10-man or smaller legit corps will not last forever, just until they have the mess under control.

They will be handing out bans, they will be grabbing caod by the throat and shaking it vigorously. ofc, lest I be called a cheerleader, it's entirely possible all this will lead to nothing except genuine members of small corps being shut out. I'm not giving them a free pass, they need to follow through over a period of months. It might only be a 30% chance that they will have the stomach for it. But it's beyond stupid to think that all they have done is ban small corps and nothing else, and they expect this to have any effect.

I even think CCP should be much harsher with the forum policy and not only ban people from forum if needed but also give them a break from the game. That way reading the forums will be more fun again.

But it's beyond stupid to think that all they have done is ban small corps and nothing else, and they expect this to have any effect. thanks for the serious replies. i was expecting a full on nub smack from everyone :) i kinda see the point with the 10 members or less in corp rule. its effect could solve a small amount of isues. but the ones spoiling it for the others are organized enough to go around the rules. i find it generaly wrong to blame the small corperations for the problems. leaving me unable to post ni caod becouse i enjoy the game with a small amount of players.

Mr Friendly That it Should Come to This	Posted - 2008.10.26 21:11:00 - [17] SHC's format works because the post-to-mod ratio is much much lower than it is here and there is a general agreement to act more a bit more maturely most of the time that is mercilessly enforced by mods AND other posters. To police CAOD to the same extent will take 20 mods working on staggered shifts and the denizens of CAOD to stop acting like ****ed children. Neither will happen. SHC is a community whereas Eve-O is a **pile.
