for those who don't knowin England it is almost unheard of for snow to arrive in October. Last time this was 1934. And it hasn't just happens in the north of Scotland where warmth never arrives. It seems to be all over the country 
although at the time the post it all melted

That statistic was snow in London.
I put money on snow being on the peaks in October every other year.

Fourth snowfall of the year is just melting here in Reykjavik.
Last year no snow settled until December.
I don't like the snow.

Interestingly enough, we had snow in June here in Stafford last year. that confused everybody.

I live in Michigan (that part of the US that looks like a hand plus that other peninsula above it for all you... other people), and we probably won't get any real snow fall here in the lower peninsula until around Christmas. If I had my way, we'd have snow for Christmas, and then it should just all go away.

Oh come on, it can have it's fun. I like to let the 4 wheel drives do their thing up and down the mountain roads whereas they create a cheap pair of tracks then my friends and I grab our sleds and do about 20 down the road in the tracks.

Lucky you. I wish I had seasons.
We got about a 15 degree band here in central coast California year-round. No snow, no rain, just infernal sunshine EVERY DAY, all year.
PS: Mail me a snowball plz.
