Personally, I don't care for hearing music during the battle, I'd rather hear some commentary to put everything into perspective.

Who lives in Huola, Minmatar or Amarr forces ? If it is Minmatar forces, then why should anybody cry about them being able to retake the system so quickly? The age of afk occupancy is over. Your side has to have "boots on the ground", errr, "ships in system" to secure it.

No we took it after 13 plexes of no fights. They took it a few hours after DT, which is not a great time for us, but seems they at lease got a few frig fights.
Personaly loath frigs so wont fly them. I also dont normally plex, but on the 3rd just formed the fleet expect someone would come kill me.
If anything Houla has shown that flipping a system should take more than 6 hours. Would be nice if a Dev wolking on FW would pop a note somewhere saying they see the issuse and are planning/have done something about it. |

If you had any idea how this stuff works, you'd know that it was a full day + 4 hours from when we could attempt to effect occupancy. It took us 28 hours to take the system from you, and I for one enjoyed every one of those minor plex fights - I think I was in on 43 kills in one afternoon.

Sry to tell you that taking Houla was not planned at all. I logged in, say a frig gang plexing in Kamela and undocked a Moa, opened a medium and they ran off after the minor was done. That pissed me off, so I went to Houla looking for a fight, thats how it started. The idea we planned it is so laughable.
I don't plex, why would I plan a fleet like that? Sure there was a small frig gang as well but when isn't there?
The entire time from starting the first plex in houla to the last plex, my fleet was no more than 7 people. Yes there was another fleet as well that made us look around 16 strong, but on our TS 7 dudes for 5 hours.
As for the fight, that was happens when you open your fleet to everyone, pop on amarr comms and tell people theres a bunker to shoot.
Not that W-BR don't plan stuff, we do. Flipping a system however isn't one of them. We've hardly ever plex bar the odd person. That may change but as of now, we in no way plan system flipping ops. We just dont give a **** about it. Atm.

Bah, we bittervets remember the glory days of Caldari when we took 5 systems in a single day, with old mechanics. Though when we repeated the gallente standings bug/exploit (working as intended by Gallente CSM until we did, then it was exploit btw) on industrial scale Amarr took 6 systems in a day. Though I would not rank it on same category |

PS: Amarr started out with Gëñ50% the number of systems of all other parties despite being the bad-asses of the cluster .. not only that but the one score systems with Amarr sovereignty are like a merry-go-round where the other three have bottlenecks, killzones, escape routes et al. "built-in" (read: Amarr sucks balls geographically).
But 'meh' .. we'll be grinding EHP for occupancy soon enough so what the hell .. CCP has broken plexing 4 times already (twice by 'accident') and they have given no indication of knowing their heads from their asses with regards to FW so I'd wager whatever they introduce as a "fix" will break it even further/again.

Go CCP Just remember: if it looks like something that might be considered an exploit (gives you unfair advantage, etc), petition it to a GM before using it and keep the reply if it states it's working as intended / not considered an exploit. That way, if someone petitions you for it later you have a thing to show that you reported it yourself and got told it's fine to use it. :) |

Well, Hans didn't see it worthwhile to even acknowledge he received the explantion for "standings bug" I sent him so I dont see why he would bother with this one either, if he asked CCP about mechanic change. Not that CCP probably even knows their own game mechanics as they have repeatedly demonstrated in communication with GM's. Talking to a piece of wood would often times make more sense.
Edit: Yeah, Veshta, it's the nugget. So no exploit but significant change to plexing mechanics nonetheless. Not that I would reveal it here and give possible advantage to enemies. EM seems to think i'm stupid and assume they subscribe to "fair play". I have not forgotten how rude two of their players were back in 2009 (or was it 2010). Calling Caldari militia a bunch of exploiters right to my face and in person tends to do that. |

Amarr are the ones who made a big deal out of taking a system when no one was defending it. Just because we took a fight outnumbered and out gunned (out out ECM'd) doesnt mean you guys are 'all that'. It was an enjoyable fight with about an even spread of losses despite being outnumbered 2-to-1. |

I dont need my ego boosted thanks, it was merely a GF post in the vain hope you guys wouldn't be dicks about it and **** and moan and also come out saying was a nice scarp.
I guess civil convos with people expressing ones pleasure about a fight is a no no with the minnies. Noted, I would say you should work on that, but meh if ya wanna be dicks be dicks.
If your counting numbers 2 Triage Archons Vs 4 Scimis, 41 Minnies mostly BS VS 88 Amarr(MY FLEET COUNT) Mostly BC's.
It was a good fight, but you guys seem intent on spoiling that. Good job.

To then take it back unopposed and claim a victory is rather sad.
We did it for the fight, not the **** swinging.

Okay, maybe if that was like 88 frigates. But double the #s, regardless BS v. BC is still pretty crazy, especially when you are approaching the triple digits mate. So you can go chill the **** out, lol.

Just a random update on plex mechanics: I have now figured out how one can remove outpost style plexes (respawnable ones) from circulation and thus completely shut down any and all efforts of retaking or defending FW systems by simple virtue of making sure there are no plexes.
Gallentes have used this tactic a lot, such as Moira. and back then it was "working as intended" according to GM's though froggies used different mechanics (cloaking) to achieve this. I figured out a better mechanic. Let's see if CCP or CSM have interest to fix this one... |

Indeed. Lots of people have also asked me how to trigger it (and thus make their lives easier) but since I am decent guy and believe playing by the rules most of the time, I have only revealed it to CCP (bug report), Hans (CSM) and two of my associates who shall remain unnamed right now.
Of course, there is great desire in caldari ranks to return the favor to gallente from the time they were happily preventing plex spawn with their own methods so I might just reveal it to known plexers in my militia to **** off a lot of people on the opposing side, who rightly deserve it. |
