I love the paintjob on the Omen Navy Issue and it seems only suitable that the Navy Apocalypse is painted in the same colours. It looks like a golden banana now since the trinity patch!

The textures are custom made for me by SpaceSavage. Ask him if you want some custom job done =). The 3d model comes from the Triexporter, which you can find somewhere on the forums. The lighting/render is done in Cinema4D.

The EoM ships are already like this. Black geddons and apocs firing missiles and blasters - quite a strange sight, but it didn't stop me wanting one.

I cant fly Amarr ships but this is just too nice a job to not support
could you do a better skin for the Raven also, pretty please.

The NavPoc in the classic client is dark-coloured. Would be fitting the the Premium client followed suit. Alternatively, if there's a fear of making it look too much Khanid, then only paint the dorsal armour plates with the "reflective black steel" texture (as in the Omen Navy Issue) and leave the other parts golden.

Yes, like the navy omen indeed. Either way, just make the color schemes match. By the way, Khanid Navy ships don't look like the way they did. |

The Navy Poc isn't a Khanid build, not missile specced, why should it be black?
(Yeah I know they made the navy augoror black, I never understood why they broke their own coloring rules. )
I think make the Apoc and Aug just a lot darker green then they are atm. |

To clear up some misinformation in this thread ...
in Classic, the Navypoc is semi-reflective and almost white
in Premium, the Navypoc is almost green (and horendous, I might add)
in Premium, the Navy Aug has a skin that matches the Nomen - a mirror finish
And on topic, I fully support the reskin. And I would love to see the Slicer with the same (hint, hint). Good work, Berthez! |

Strange. I do clearly remember seeing "black" (well, darker) Navy Apocalypses. The Navy Omen in Classic is rather dark-coloured, too.
Also, faction ships were in before T2 ships, if I am correct. When the original Navy Apoc was textured, the Khanid weren't likely that well designed (some might say they were just an afterthought before the Khanid Mk.2 implementation which changed them from shield tanking (and also a bit armor tanking) split laser/missile platforms into armor tanking closer range "unguided" missile fighters. |
