Whoever is in charge at CCP needs to take a serious look at their employees. The Devs are either incompetent or lazy and are WAY out of touch with what "balance" is. I think we can all agree that PvP is still not balanced and is probably less balanced than it was before. You have a pretty serious problem when you can't rationally solve small problems.
Look at your general discussion forum, how many of these threads are ppl talking about how much fun eve is or how they got the new cool thing? Most of the threads are people demanding you fix one bug or another. Instead of the random nerfbat approach you use why not think a little. Hire someone with common sense to evaluate your choices, they will shoot 99% of them down, guaranteed.
If you support the idea of a new dev team please post here, if not then start your own thread.

Um. The most vocal part of any population is the angry part. As such, no public forum will -ever- be a full and accurate representation of the views of a given population.
That said, seriously, man. Just STFU. End yourself. Quit the game if you don't like it. And give me your stuff. Et cetera, et cetera.
I'm just getting irritated with all the whiney bints around. EVE is -still- less expensive for me than it would be to buy a new game every two months, and it's also something that provides play that I wouldn't be able to replicate elsewhere -- not even remotely.

dont fire the devs.. just use real hardware and REAL OSes this time not micromachines winblows server 2003 with the all crappy sql-server :) everyone know windows isnt any good for clustering anyways :)

But I think your way overlooking a PvP imbalance. Its not like people are locked into one specific ship or using 1 specific weapon. Every ship and ever weapons is useable by everyone. Everything is actually 100% balanced. Maybe the different ships or weapons are unbalanced. Obviously some things are better then others. Im not sure what your blowing up about.
If missile spamming is the flavor this month then train up your missile and caldar ship flying skills. If hybrids own projectiles right now then train hybrids. Flaming for imbalances is like saying im ****ed my civilian pulse laser doesnt own a 450mm artillery cannon. This is a great thinking game. If something isnt working and you get outmatched its your own fault unfortunatly. Eve mechanically allows everyone the same oppurtunity to be just as good as each other(minus skills).

I find this post to be the most amusing I have read all morning.
I was in Macdonalds, getting my saturday morning breakfast (2 bacon and egg Mcmuffins and a large coffee), when i noticed somebody complaining at the counter. Apparently one of the customers had been given a bacon and egg instead of a sausage and egg Mcmuffin. The guy at the counter said he would have to wait a few minutes for a new sausage and egg to be cooked, but the customer wasn't happy with that. Regardless of the counter staff apologising for their error, the customer demanded to see the duty manager, so he could lodge a formal complaint. The militant customer even started talking about how the counter staff should be sacked.
Oh, sorry,i got carried away there, eve.....
Yeh, the lag sucks at the moment, but i am sure CCP are doing their best.

Yes of course, the deves just looooove breaking eve and screwing it up. You know its only their first major game and is a huge success and pays their wages and all so of course they enjoy delieratly breaking it.
Right now thats out the way, yeah things are messed and and yes some daft mistakes have been made, but they're working on them and sooner or later they get fixed. The more time they have to read stupid crybaby drivel like this the less time they have to get things done.
Since most people dont have a clue about how the cluster works or a games code that works over it I doubt your in any sort of position to judge ccps competance. Guees what, its not a perfect world and neither are they, expect things to go wrong from time to time. Just becuase you pay for the game doesnt mean you should spend every second on it even though it makes you annoyed. Try beating off or somthing to relieve our tension, probably do more good than whining here.
