I noticed (or noticed the lack thereof) that the expansion notes make no mention of updated environments, re-done planets, and other space assets etc. Is this intentionally done to save those goodies for Fan-Fest? I know it's been discussed, so I just want to confirm if we are still indeed going to get the rest of Trinity in this expansion.
That is all.

I have a feeling the plans will be revealed at FF.

Or any changes to FW.
Or any changes to POS wars.
Or any changes to Industry.

If the rest of Trinity was in this expansion it'd already be on SISI. As it stands, and with the amount of resources the Ambulation project looks to be consuming, we probably won't see the Trinity upgrade completed 'till the end of next year, at best. |

That would make sense IFF the space game team was divided to work on ambulation-its not. Also More graphic updates are coming next week-namely the star gates are getting an overhaul. ---- --- --- My views don't represent those of my corporation or alliance. |

That's what I'm suggesting (if I understand you correctly), that a substantial part of the dev team has been pulled to work Ambulation that was due for release this fall, but looks to be severely delayed.
The new gates are nice, but look more like a last resort effort to add some substance to an 'expansion' that was starting to look more and more like a tweak patch (which I have no problem with, I like most of the tweaks). Still, if I had a choice, I'd rather have new planets/asteroids/moons/space. ...

I see, I see. I guess I assumed to much, although I'm certain it was said that they'll have some new graphics stuff to show us at fanfest-- and I quote, "it will be o-zom"

The one hase nothing to do with the other.
I'm sure they will show new stuff at FF, plans for the future, some screens, may even movies. But that is not whats going into the expansion.
Fanfest is more about visions for the future then immediate releases.

To me its really odd that ccp does not try to finish the graphical update as soon as possible, and basically let people play with an unfinished product for more then a year.
But whatever, even with serious competition I doubt ccp will change there glacial development speed, it seems to be an Icelandic thing.

Gotta say i was hoping for some graphical updates too. The background nebulas are looking pretty dated, and as for the planets and moons... They look like something from the amiga era.

CCP has mentioned that their priorities were rejigged somewhat by the universal clamour towards tackling the load scaling issues that they have.
But there are some shiny new stargates to stare at in QR, so it's not a complete failure on that score.
