At least the numbers are getting better for PA. Instead of 6 alliance vs 1 its 6vs2 now lol Moo/evol norad rkk all sad. How many guys you gonna get to takem down after you already pulled most of eve against PA and still cant beat em.

I don't think it really matters whether the war is vindicated...PA wasn't/isn't doing well. If it were me, my first thought would be to get backup wherever possible.

I don't think it really matters whether the war is vindicated...PA wasn't/isn't doing well. If it were me, my first thought would be to get backup wherever possible.

This is pretty interesting. Curse hasnt picked up any new enemies, and certainly dont need military help from the PA. Whereas PA is likely to pick up several new alliance foes, although chances are they'll be flying in bolstered fleets with CA.
I wonder if the tradeoff will be worth it...
In any case, this looks like a lot of fun. Might see the first proper Eve War, with the Allies on one side and the Axis on the other. Soon we'll need an EVE A&E channel.

Its not a matter of alliances VS eachother, its numbers. Check all of NAST's numbers and PA's they are about equal. ( or at least they were  )

A quote springs to mind from one of the logs on the JF site. I do believe it was sharkbigdog that said he could take on the CA with 10 frigates. I guess CA got scared when he threatned them with destruction at the hands of his 10 frigate squad unless they joined with PA.

CA will be running straight back to HLW once stain and xetic start running thru curse shooting down their many miners. I don't believe CA will be the great lifeline the PA are hoping for, they are struggling to defend curse as it is.

My apologies for not posting sooner Foyle. Our vote took place minutes before I headed off for the long week-end.
We had something prettier in a draft somewhere, but the basic point stands. In attacking us, the following corps made a common enemy of both the Phoenix Alliance and the Curse Alliance:
Reikoku
Jericho Fraction
M0O
Evolution
Fade Union
Norad
Coalition of Deklien
Unicor
Both the CA and the PA have other wars with other corps and alliances. The Phoenix Alliance will be taking no part in such other wars and will not be firing on Curse Alliance enemies except when they are also Phoenix Alliance enemies such as those noted here. Similarly the CA will not AFAIK be seeking out PA enemies aside from those listed here.
The complaints, innuendos and other silliness from our enemies can be summarized in the sentence "darn, we'd hoped the PA and CA would be stupid enough to put their pride before common sense, and let us try to pick them off one by one."

Not really, as i remember the first 15 pages all with a turning point called "CDI pirating!" mainly lead by an angry muppet, and muppet she definately was, called Jade, thus chainspawning more angry muppets from JF, RKK and PA.
Another thread with a message from RKK saying something like, " we're sorry it had to come to this... RKK attacked by CDI pilots...we declared WAR on you, hope it'll all be great FUN".
Presenting biased points of wiews may be cool, as they are often see through. Presenting wrong facts does'nt work.
Must admit that there later arrived some other reasons, but they mainly seemed stowed away for the good of NAST, i.e history, and never appeared as any legit reasons for war. More as backup for the whole story, as the CDI story wore dry on page 2 :)
There you have it, i've read every page so far. And if what you stated is JFs, not yours, opinion, remind me never to call Jade an angry muppet again.

Pirating never was a factor in the cause for war.
Not really, as i remember the first 15 pages all with a turning point called "CDI pirating!" mainly lead by an angry muppet, and muppet she definately was, called Jade, thus chainspawning more angry muppets from JF, RKK and PA.
Another thread with a message from RKK saying something like, " we're sorry it had to come to this... RKK attacked by CDI pilots...we declared WAR on you, hope it'll all be great FUN".
Presenting biased points of wiews may be cool, as they are often see through. Presenting wrong facts does'nt work.
Must admit that there later arrived some other reasons, but they mainly seemed stowed away for the good of NAST, i.e history, and never appeared as any legit reasons for war. More as backup for the whole story, as the CDI story wore dry on page 2 :)
There you have it, i've read every page so far. And if what you stated is JFs, not yours, opinion, remind me never to call Jade an angry muppet again.

Sir Molles, hopefully, joke thread declaring PA space conquered, resulted in a spiral with 30+ threads of NCA people crying "wahahaha we won!", 1 PA goes in and say, "ok, we sleep from time to time" 30+ lamer threads about PAs inability to do anything with the same people now acting gods, and few m0o statements without any relevance really, that only adds to the heap of childish garbage some grownups have to speak once in a while :P. A PA gets tired of the newly spawned forum lamers and selfproclaimed EvE gods, and tries to defend, but another 30+ posts make sure that he's definately wrong to the bone. Either by calling all of PA ****** *****s, and every slightly interesting comment in the thread, was trolled to hell and back. Was really a sore sight :(

This reads like an attempt to keep the Stain Alliance out of the Venal area imo. I think it will be real interesting if its top PVP'ers MASS, and Collective jump in. In Xetic/CA/SA/FA wars they flew often with Evolution and MOo pirates.

Meh, lots of fun up here. People stop whining about safespots, everyone uses them. Just like people only fight (in most cases) when the odds are with them. Doesn't make sense otherwise.
As far as sides numbers going, I think about the same number of corps are active on both sides. Most of CoD and FU are staying at home or mining empire, same goes for NORAD and UNICOR. Just like our mining corps. The only people in the north are the fighters, and its a blast.
If anyone foolishly thinks that we the PA are the only ones guilty of working with "shady" groups (no offense to the CA, so far you guys have been friendly and honorable), take a look at the once "anti-pirate" groups of the JCA (Jade Coalition of Allies or whatever they call themselves now) that now regularly work with m0o, possibly one of the most notorious pirate corps in the game.
Anyway, if anything was taken as insulting my apologes, thats not how it was meant. Just the facts above. Good luck to you all out there. Hope we can fight this war for a few good months.

Yeah, I wonder what their position is, and how it will affect the greater universe.
Personally, I am a peaceful kind guy - you know, try to diplomatically change the state of affairs into something mutually beneficial to both sides.
However, it never hurts to have a Blasterthron armed to the teeth to assist in clarifying your point .... and those 10 heavy ogres/wasps are merely a courtesy.
I like to call it the empire sandwich, two sides going at it hammer and tong with empire in the middle .... it will be interesting to see the changed political landscape after this has concluded.
As they say .... 'Lets get ready to rumble!!!!'

As we are a fair corp we had a vote, like my woman Miss voice just said... but ill give u a wee bit more info in what darth thinks.
CA are KOS, and will remain KOS... mOo are KOS and will remain KOS... if we chose to hunt CA outwith PA space while PA are with them we will not be attacking PA ships... we will be leaving it in the hands of the PA how they would wish to play it..
The same goes for mOo, we will still be trying to kill mOo, but most deff wont be targeting any of their allies, IE RKK/EVOL..
i know this could be VERY complicated if say, RKK and mOo are in the same gang, or CA and PA are in the same gang... But how could we do it any other way?.. we stick to what we believe in. and cannot possibly take ppl out of our KOS list just because who they are allied with, can we now?.
so as u see it, it will be TOTALLY in the hands of RKK/PA how they want to handle this...

As we are a fair corp we had a vote, like my woman Miss voice just said... but ill give u a wee bit more info in what darth thinks.
CA are KOS, and will remain KOS... mOo are KOS and will remain KOS... if we chose to hunt CA outwith PA space while PA are with them we will not be attacking PA ships... we will be leaving it in the hands of the PA how they would wish to play it..
The same goes for mOo, we will still be trying to kill mOo, but most deff wont be targeting any of their allies, IE RKK/EVOL..
i know this could be VERY complicated if say, RKK and mOo are in the same gang, or CA and PA are in the same gang... But how could we do it any other way?.. we stick to what we believe in. and cannot possibly take ppl out of our KOS list just because who they are allied with, can we now?.
so as u see it, it will be TOTALLY in the hands of RKK/PA how they want to handle this...

Hey Darth and The Gang - sounds kinda like you guys are "splitting hairs" on this issue. I almost find it hard to believe that you guys voted to put Celes in a difficult albeit noble position as you are in now. In this conflict - the term pirate is passe.

There is never any real victor in EVE. There are as I see it only a few ways to win wars. Oh and Notferr, fleet battles aren't one of them, they never were, never are. People either get driven out, through force, camping, or pure ganking or they leave because they find greater hope in another part of space or because they are sick of war.
Pay attention to the last part because this is what most of your alliance members do not understand. Wars in EVE take time, a long time. New alliances, with new members to EVE (not saying CoD has newer members, but a "fair" majority of them are post January) fail to realize how tiresome and relentless wars can be. This fight has just started.
This fight will end in one of two ways.
You remove PA from Venal (Extremely hard thing to do)
or
NCA (JPA) surrenders or admits defeat
Until then, we fight, those are the only two options as I see it. I hope that the CoD leadership told their members that they have gotten them into a war 'to end all wars' so to speak for the northern regions.
For those who have declared empire wars as well. They aren't forgotten and will be dealt with once the primary fight is over.
