I've been playing on-and-off since 2003 and up until now I hadn't heard of Chribba. I was dimly aware of the Veldnought though. I think I've just found my new EvE hero

Where have you been hiding? Almost everyone who has played more than a year knows of Chribba, even if they don't know him in game personally.
He runs the Eve-Files server and I remember a while ago, he stated that the number of files stored there had topped the 1 Terrabyte mark. This server is run at his own expense for the benefit of Eve players.
AS for the OP: When you contribute as much to Eve as Chribba has, maybe CCP will let you own your own Veldnaught. I'm actually surprised that CCP has not added him to the payroll much less make him still pay for his accounts.

Dear OP - you know that in many parts of the world they sentence people to death for less blasphemy than this?
So, before you retreat from this post again, don't forget to send your thanks to Chribba for his mere existence, and remember to include him in your bed time prayers.

Originally by: Pretty kitty So the other day im flying around relaxing..marveling at the well balanced and non-descriminitory world of eve you have created CCP.. When i noticed a revelation on scan...As I was in high sec this raised some serious questions..A short review of the forums revealed that due to his likeable nature and all the wonderful things he has done for the community evidentally Chribba's 14.95 is more valuable then mine..Thank you CCP for making exclusions to your rules and allowing individuals within the player base to have access to things that others never will..Thank you for showing us that being your buddy is more important than getting in and playing the game. Most of all I want to thank you for making the decision to take high sec caps out and then getting soft and returning them there by demonstrating strong moral fiber and backbone. -signed, annoyed consumer
Eve Online IS great because here also is UNIQUE stuff! That's real important.
And also, you can make an offer to anyone who has capital ship in high sec and hope for sale. Most of these are passed to others when players has played enough with them. But I highly doubt that Chribba would sell his Veldnaught tho.
And I really hope that CCP would hide some new unique stuff as stealth

They are overpowered in high sec and large alliances would dominate every single thing from 0.0 to highsec then.

You smell that? Do you smell that?
Veldspar, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that.
I love the smell of Veldspar in the morning.
You know, one time we had a belt mined, for twelve hours.
The smell, you know that veldspar smell, the whole belt. Smelled like... victory.
Someday this war's gonna end...

I eagerly await the day he strolls off with a couple of titans and the price of them too.
If this ever happens, and the victims post on the forums about it, then there will be legions of people posting "gtfo", "Lies", "Photoshop!", and similar sentiments. Possibly even earning a war declaration or 9 for 'attempting' to darken Chribba's name.
It would be like seeing the Queen doing a drive-by shooting during the State Opening of Parliament. You'd have to refuse to believe it, because it being true would destroy everything you thought you knew about the universe.
Would be hilariously funny though.

STFU, you're a **** to think anything but Chribba's Veldnaught matters, you're just jealous.
OP was is a stupid **** too who got owned beyond all comprehension by Chribba.
What am I?
That's right.
I'm doing an impression of a moron.
My stance?
As long as everyone else is allowed to keep their capitals in highsec, I've no problem with Chribba keeping his. I personally don't see his advert revenue riddled websites as a reason for a award, I get by with imageshack and using proper search engine code. Although maybe his favour in in the community is a reason.
Personally I love whoever created Battleclinic more then anyone.
I thought this silly thread would've died easily by now, but flame away muppets, just like you filled the first page full of locked threads with the POS debacle.
