Salvage stabber gives you a speedtank when AB fit that the rats wont beat if you box clever, ability to fit a probe launcher and salvagers and run all this permanently in a plex- along with more cargo than a frig.
So i'm with you on that

I suicide ganked a ninja salvager the other day with a manticore. Worked quite well and getting concorded was well worth it (I had never been concorded before).
Make sure the dude you're ganking doesn't pose a threat to come back and kill ya as they do get kill rights on you for a few weeks.
Also the sec status loss was pretty huge (5.0 to 4.1).
My only mistake is that I had 1000 rounds of CN Wrath Cruise missiles and two best named sensor damps, next time I would fit just cruises and BCS. One salvo was all I got off before concord showed up.
I actually don't mind the ninja salvagers, I was just a little frustrated that day and the dude who was doing it was Russian, so my guess is he was ebaying to feed his family. Hopefully they starved for the day.
