Makeit Happen	Posted - 2008.11.05 22:20:00 - [1] Looking for a good fit to take out cruiser and below. Will be using 2 identical ships. Thought about caracal with 5 mid meta heavy launcher, faction EM ammo and 2 x dmg mod I. Only use for these is to just gank idiots who like free salvage...yes it will cost me more than the lost salvage....most of the time i expect them to just run anyway...

And as for caldari being the worst race for suicide ganking, I don't really about changing your question as you're not likely going to get a straight awnser in this thread and if you can't fit something out for max DPS you need to start from square one. I fly t1 ships mainly when ninjasalvaging, but I do have a pimped out hurricane, thorax, stabber, and amarr navy slicer, and soon a curse that I fly on occasion, with bulkheads, plates and shield extenders just to ruin your day. I also urge all other ninjas to do this as well as nothing smashes a carebear's ego, or their wallet, like a failed suicide gank attempt. Aforesaid NPC corpies playing at Ninja Salvaging probably will warp away, otherwise most of us are more than happy to blow holes in your ships; i know SN will. After the 11th you wont be able to hit the vast majority of boats Ninja Salvagers use with Hvy launchers and do significant damage. Stick with assault launchers and precision lights (anything your Heavies can hit properly wont go down before Concord beat your ass)

I do not believe insults are the proper way to get a point across, I was just pointing out how your lack of creativity in using one on my corpmate makes you look like a fool. If you can come up with a fitting that beats what you can get in this thread, what the hell are you asking the question for anyways? I smell a troll Obviously you should be using a warp scrambler and afterburner/mwd on that catalyst, and if they're warping away after the lock then they're problably too chicken**** to even activate a salvager in your mission while you're there, so you have nothing to fear as long as you don't leave your deadspace unsupervised. If what you say is true...maybe I should go for 3 x assault launcher fitted cruisers? Man, I hate to 3-box....or maybe 2 would still be enough, guess I'll have to test it out. Khraunus, I have tried to be civil, was a simple statement trying to keep thread on the loose track it was on, nothing more nothing less. Would be an AB, you are right scram would be beneficial....and to be honest it is meant more a deterrent to prospective ninja looters....obviously I am not going to take on the people who spend 200mil on a ship which can ninja 2mil of loot....

A trade hub could have a 20 quality agent, but 4 jumps away there could be a 18 quality agent. Go to the 18. And dont try to win an argument on the forums. It makes you look dumb.

On the contrary, I ussually just grab some popcorn and watch while I drop another probe. It keeps me from salvaging but doesn't really do anything to keep me out as I enjoy watching this, it's like flipping over the chess board and shouting '** YOU YOU YOU ** YOU' when you start to lose. As for tractor beams, most of my ships can outrun them unless they're used by a marauder. Really the best solution is to get out of crowded mission hubs. And to the OP, I didn't mean to spread any offense around untill I saw it coming my way. The truth about most ninjas is that what you give to them is what they dish back out, however there are a few exceptions among us who just try to be douchebags just for the sake of being douchebags. I'll be honest, as CEO of Suddenly Ninjas, and now, the Tear Extraction And Reclamation Service, it's extremely hard to take down a proper Salvage Ship. Firstly, as I'm usually flying an Executioner (or Malediction), I've got a Nanofiber/OD combo in the lows, and an AB in the mid... A Frigate/Inty is already extremely hard to hit, and alpha'ing one is near impossible before Concord gets to you. Those who have tried, on their most successful attempts, have brought me into armor, only to find Concord knocking on their door. My ships can successfully tank 3+ NPC BS's, providing I'm moving, so this is why I don't have an issue with giving you my ship fittings. I created Suddenly Ninjas and TEARS for the express purpose of giving the Ninja Salvaging Profession a face, and to bring it out of the NPC Corps. I'm happy to say we've been more than successful thus far, and have many, many plans for the future. We're Recruiting!

Move away from the super high population areas. I've been mission running lvl 4's for a very long time, and I have _never_ seen a salvage thief in one of my missions. I have also rarely ever done missions in high population areas either. Nowadays it doesn't matter - I two box an Apoc and a Dominix for missions. The Apoc tanks everything, the Dominix releases drones with command to guard the Apoc, then I loot and salvage the wrecks with the Dominix. 2000+ m3 cargospace, 3x salvager, 3x tractor, AB speed of @350 m/s. 100km range Ogre 2 drones If you run two accounts I suggest you might consider doing the same, or similar. One drone boat, one tank boat. If you salvage as the ships die, what's left for the salvage thieves? Sure, if they are really persistent, they might get some, but they are more likely to wander off looking for easier pickings. It also appears that you run multiple accounts.
