I was having a heap of problems trying to get onto SISI, so I decided to dump my test file and fully download a new one into my test folder......use the latest SISI patch etc etc
When one goes to download the game in it's entirety, there is an option to download using bittorent. Thinking that this might speed up the process, I chose that method.
Unfortunatly I earned a TRojan Horse for my troubles.......so the simple advice...if you intend to fully download.......DON'T choose the bittorent route.

The downloader is hosted on CCP's site and it should check all transmitted data.
Could be just a false positive or possibly something else infecting the file after you have downloaded it.

5 isk says a gm ran off to check the seed 1 sec after reading this 
Actually for what it's worth, odds are you're av is picking up the bit torrent component (i don't remember which and i don't want to reinstall to check) which was installed when you pressed dl. More interesting is the fact ccp has never saw it fit to warn the user that it was being installed or the it would continue seeding long after you're playing eve. If you ever use the torrent and your isp tells you you've passed your cap, you know why.

What AV are you using?
If you are using norton, mcafee or AVG, ditch them and get a proper AV. You will get much better performance and detection rates with lower false positives.
(Thought this because yet another AVG false positive was in the news today)
