Yes. Please submit a petition if the implants are not useable or repackaged.

Originally by: Zaknussem I've had no problems whatsoever so far, so no complaints from me.
However, I noticed that the skill requirements for the Remote Sensor Booster II went from Sensor Linking II to Sensor Linking IV. There is not a single word in the patch notes of any changes to skill requirements to anything (besides the Orca).
So when can we expect the patch for the patch notes?
The change was listed under Changes > Modules:
The Remote Sensor Booster II has had its skill requirements changed to Sensor Linking 4 to bring it in line with other T2 modules.

The downtime announcement was an oversight, there will be no further downtime this night.

The minimum size was increased to be able to show info on Medals. We have fixed this internally and special cased the Medals show info windows.

Originally by: Falaricae I started orbiting one of the new gates and decided to open the map window to plot a route for another new gate. To my surprise the camera moves, as in still following the ship, even in the map. I hope this is not a feature since it makes clicking the already small system icons really annoying and I have to keep scrolling the map so it stays even remotely where I want to look. Stopping the ship ofcourse stops the movement of the map window. The map seems to fuction stangely in other ways too, but I'm not sure what is causing it, so I'll test in again in the morning before reporting it.
EDIT: NWM, all the problems are coused by focusing the camera on something other than your own ship.
Yes, is a known issue if you are looking at another object and you ship is moving.

Originally by: AlphaMeridian Weapon linking in space does not work for me following the instructions here: http://myeve.eve-online.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=596 I can get to the last step but the weapons would not drag and drop. Weapon Linking in station via the fitting panel *does* work and Weapon Linking in space via the fitting panel *does* work, just not weapon linking in space via the instructions listed above.
Have you locked the modules? Click the white triangle and check if they are locked. Unlock them and then Weapon Grouping should work. Note that you don't have to enter Grouping Mode, you also Shift+drag the modules on top of one another (if they are unlocked).

Originally by: Hype Hamfist The implants removed has been placed in the hangar where I have my medical clone - and that is 47 jumps away from where I have my active body... This isn't very smart from my point of view
Can I make a petition to get the implants moved to the station with my active body ? Otherwise I might as well just trash them.
Petition this issue and the GMs will assist you.

Yes. Please submit a petition if the implants are not useable or repackaged.
Just to clarify the situation a little better...
GMs will not be able to repackage implants for selling on the market in cases where players don't want to use them anymore, and where the implants have been removed from their brains.
The reasoning for this is that if the implants had not been removed by us during the patch due to technical necessity, the only way of removing them would have been to destroy them.
In short, there was never any intention to remove unwanted implants for reselling. Some implants simply had to be removed from slots for technical reasons and were placed in hangars so players could plug them in again. Note that unpackaged implants can still be sold through contracts.
If however your implants were removed and placed in a station far away from you, we will move them to your location so please contact us if that is the case.
Enjoy Quantum rise!

If anyone is still having issues with characters being stuck, please file a petition using the "Stuck" feature, and be sure to include your character's name and the like. The GMs have been doing an extremely wonderful job of helping un-, er, stick(?) players with a really good turn around time for all involved.
And your feedback has been really great so far. Keep it coming. It's really been helpful!

I need to correct myself here, something I don't get to do very often!
Apparently the intention was that implants removed would be returned to player's hangars in a repackaged state so they could be sold on the market.
What happened was:
- Implants removed from characters were returned to hangars in a repackaged state. - Implants removed from jump clones were NOT returned in a repackaged state.
We will run a global fix for this as soon as possible so please leave your implants were they are for the time being if they are not repackaged. Petitions won't be necessary as this will be sorted with a single wave of the wand.
Our apologies for this, and my apologies for giving you incorrect info earlier.
Best Regards, Lead GM Guard

Originally by: IlluminatedOne In "contracts" window, "Item name (exact)" filter isn't working correctly - if you enter something into it, you'll get the whole category you've chosen. But: if you find the required item -> right click -> "Find contracts with this item", then you'll get the desired (with all other options reset).
We are aware of this issue. Thank you.

So will you guys be extending this to cover things like mining lasers, would help all those miners with multiple turrets get things going :)
I don't think grouping would benefit miners. If you are using a mining barge you typically have two or three lasers. Grouping these tends to cause the rock to pop to quickly where as you will loose ore. Granted it may help some if your mining with a cruiser or bs but I would suggest just working on a mining barge it will help you quite a bit.
That was our thinking as well. Weapon Grouping was intended for modules that you regularly reactivate and which you focus on something. Only guns fulfill those requirements (turrets and launchers). Mining laser you would tend to spread to different targets and, e.g., shield hardeners you don't reactivate regularly (just keep them on auto-repeat).

Since the release of Quantum Rise we have been getting reports from players about client performance. We have been reading those reports, analysing the scenarios, testing and reviewing code since the release. We now have a couple of fixes ready and a few more in the pipes, which we think may address the problems you are describing, and we want your help in testing them on Singularity. Please read this thread for more information; CCP Tanis. is organising the testing effort. |
