I downloaded the Quantum rise patch..it failed.. says it was corrupt...Now I can't try again because it says there is no patch avail for version 5.20.69354. I can't find ANY info on this version.. :(:(:(

Do you play through steam? If so i had the same issue, Just let steam update EVE on it's own, it's the only way i think.

You got the wrong patch, here is the correct one Classic 69354 - 69477 Premium 69354 - 69477

i got the same,.. thenit send me off to the full-client download page,.. which takes ages!!!
and now the in-client patch download asks wether to download a new version of 67.7Mb,.. but it loads the wrong one! [ 3673Kb]
someone at CCP needs strangling!!!

I got the same version as you. Says incompatible build, was on vent at the same time as other corp members started downloading and they got the correct version.
i did get a download of 3.6 KB but it states the following ( and no I don't use steam)
The patch was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again?
You will not be able to enter the game until you download the patch.
I uninstalled and am reinstalling now, will have to patch again though.
update, am using the windows client (classic)

I 'Had' the same problem :
Winxp Classic Update not Steam.
I used the patch linked by jessica above and that fixed the problem.
