It sure seems like that.
I wish I'd trained t2 beams instead of Pulse. There goes the next week.

My Battleship seems to be moving along just fine. Maybe you should check your fittings?

Such sweet sweet nano*** tears. It makes me so happy to hear the bleating, crying and gnashing of teeth from those who want a great, lumbering battleship to move as fast as a light nimble frigate.
Now that the speeds are back to more realistic levels we can get down to some serious pew pew rather than having nano***s running away at the sight of a properly fitted battleship, even when they outnumber the BS.

Are you on hallucinogens? We just want our BS to actually be able to move. People were not exactly nano-ing Abaddons or Ravens on a regular basis. Or any basis.

Yeah, because now the battleship will have serious trouble even staying with or hitting another battleship, much less anything smaller.

Also dumb, if all the battleships got nerfed then they should have no issue keeping up with each other, if they didn't all get nerfed then specify a case for one of the battleships being too fast and overpowered.
I'd say battleships being around half the speed of a cruiser is perfectly fine. They're more agile now, albeit slower, but they still have the same range so I don't exactly see where the issue is here ---

Can someone photoshop the little 'anchoring' timer onto a screenshot of a dominix?

Half of a cruiser's speed would be about 150. My Raven goes about 100. Not too bad, but, as I understand, a bit slower.
However, my biggest worry is the extreme decrease to turret tracking and medium drones - effectively making it difficult for most guns to hit anything but a battleship. Add the web nerf in with that, and, well, yeah. I have nearly maxed gunnery skills and I still had to be careful to avoid too much transversal with enemy BS.

Carriers are the new Battleships and Battleships are the new Dreads... except without a role or any real use whatsoever.

People don't get it. Now that speed is pretty much non-existent as an option for most, my nano-ships have pretty much absolutely nothing to worry about. General speeds were reduced to a much more controllable level, now its beyond simple keeping the appropriate distance.
A properly fitted battleship will die to a speed fit, easier than before since it has no way to catch it with their severely reduced speed.
This patch was a speed fit boost in disguise.
