Personally i think the new expansion is great..
I know there are a lot of whiners and whingers out there, so i'd just like to make this thread so that the people out there who work hard to bring us this game, know that the time and effort that they actually put into it was worth it...that not ALL the feedback their getting is negative....
for example, i love the new certificate system, sure its not to everybody's taste, but it adds flavour to the game and is entirely optional..
so yeah, post here if you're happy and want to show some love!

Well,yes...the weapon stacking is perfect, and the certificates are awesome, althought.....requiring Shield Compensation 5 to get Armor tanking - Elite is odd....but so is ccp.
New gates are also very sexy

The balance adjustments please me greatly.
Also, while most individual whiners will not actually quit and/or give me their stuff, the sheer number of them ensures that by the end of this, someone will give me their stuff and bucket loads of emotears to boot.

Apparently you haven't tried jumping through a stargate with your weapons stacked...

Some of the patch features are great. I love weapon grouping, and re-learning game balance will be fun.
That's not why I'm going to continue to play the game tho. I'm going to continue because we're getting good attempts at gang fights mere hours after the patch went live despite nerfs and server instability. The next few weeks are going to be lots of fun with opponents who want to play like these guys do.
btw: 3 kills, 0 losses so far .

All changes in the expansion are perfect CCP, you guys really balanced the game well this time. Nano-gangs can now be countered without using nano-ships and missile boats don't do rediculous damage now, maybe I blaster ship can put up a fight now. I don't see why people are complaining, but that's what happens when people are exposed to an environment that requires skill.

I love the expansion. I'd be praising CCPs name right now if the scars from disabled ghost training, power of 2, and GTC pricejack weren't so fresh.

There isn't a single aspect of this expansion that I'm not enjoying. Wait, strike that, the occasional bug associated with jumping while weapons are grouped is a bit irritating, but I'm sure it'll be fixed quickly.
The gates, weapon grouping, mod timers, etc, are all just gravy to me. I was, and still am, most excited about the speed balancing.
Keep it up, CCP. Looks like you've got some great stuff slated for March, I can't wait.

Cant say anything bad about the changes yet. I will enjoy shooting ppl just as much as b4 and even might see more shiny explosions with less ships being able to get back to the gate b4 you can even get a lock on them without filling all my meds with sensor boosters :).

well so far I've only had the certificates and Timers to play with (the one gate I've jumped through so far has been normal amarr)
The Certificates are awesome, and I can really see them having an massive impact on Recruitment, no longer will it be 10mil+ sp or 20mil+, it will be "Shield Elite" or "armour Standard" which makes it a whole lot easier for everyone, especially newbs who can then set training skills.
I'm only 7.7mil sp, so when I logged on I only got about 15 or so (mostly mining)
Can't wait to find a new stargate

It wasn't an expansion....(as I've said else where)....majority was fixes and implemnting crap that coulda been done two years ago......it was just a post fanfest hangover party.

Adaptation, isn't an issue, never has been...I leave a certain amount of leeway in any character for just such reason. That more or less by the time I can take advantage of something...well CCP will change the game.
I kinda like it that way, keeps me attmepting to think ahead with the few braincells I have to rub together, and well I play EvE still..... I don't like some of the things CCP hands down but hey I don't like alot of things in real life either.
Compared to the 'expansions' since I came back to EvE at Revelations...this wasn't an expansion by any means. It was a nerf bat and bug zapper.

I like it.But the 200 or so people that spent hours testing it knew what was coming so I guess Ive just gotten used to the changes.
(I'll say it's a patch more than an expansion though,one new ship and some fluff doesnt really qualify as an expansion but Im used to expansions containing new maps/races/ships ala W40K style.)

It's a given, my log in consists of the following:
- Check skill still blinking.
- Check ship still spinning.
- Check fitting still undone.
- Yell "Balaghalamanam!!" in any channel i'm in.
- Undock.
- Warp to gate.
- Set orbit at 10km.
- Hit AB/MWD(if any.
- Go for a smoke.

The missile balancing is great. Seeing as I was always sad seeing people who use missiles out damage my rails in a BIG way. This will even out the playing field.
It also makes sense to bring ship speeds in line with their class, making it more accurate. It'll be sad when me BS goes slower than it already does but I will survive.
CCP keep up the great work.
