Like all MMO's but especially in EVE...fanbois are proven to actually have orgasms when someone announces they are quitting game. So...this will make all of you very happy.
This patch has left my Raven completely useless. Even with 5 L5 Hammerhead drones, it takes over 10 minutes to kill a frigate. I am not sure what was behind CCP's wisdom to nuke the bejesus out of this ship, but I don't care. There are other games out there (Fanbois start chomping at the bit here).
So long Eve...wish I could have said it was fun while it lasted.

have you tried to use LIGHT drones agains frigs? isnt that what they are there for?

You have a BIG machine gun and you try to kill a fly. cant do it easily. Change into something that its fast and easy to use in order to kill the fly...
p.s. if you still cant do it then....
can i have your ISK (i always wanted to say that  )

I'll try not to troll too much since you posted in the new players question & answer forum for some odd reason.
People like me want to troll you so badly because you didn't bother to keep up with the coming changes and are now just whining becuse things have changed. Changes to medium drones were clearly in the patch notes and were needed, since they made light drones obsolete with the ability to wtfpwn frigate sized ships. With the speed nerf this issue could not be ignored any longer.
Weapon systems in general now scale to hit targets of the same size class. This only makes sense and is a lot more balanced than the old system. If you honestly can't make your raven work in mission now, you never had a clue how things work in this game and just copied your fit from a guide.

I fly a Raven, and TBH I always knew it had 75m3 so I could carry 5x T2 mediums and 5x T2 lights. CCP has just made good on fixing a tracking error on drones that never should have been there to begin with. Battleships, medium, and heavy drones, are supposed to be WEAK to frigates, light drones are not, act accordingly.
What's your excuse to be too lazy to buy 1.25mil worth of T2 lights or buy a few tracking links and fit them if you want to rely so heavily on larger drones? No different than a gunnery pilot who uses a Mega because of the tracking bonus, or fits tracking CPUs to improve hit rate on smaller targets. How does this not make sense?
It's EVE, adapt, or be left behind.

I take it you didn't read the QR patch notes...it was specificly said that medium drones would not be effective anymore against small target. what CCP did is pretty simple, light drones for light targets, medium drones for medium targets and heavy drones for heavy targets. makes more sense then light for light, heavy for heavy and medium for pwnmobile I-win he's got hammerheads run to the hills.

I found this to be a bit annoying in my Drake, so i ended up re-rolling Amarr. Finding them fun so far.

While of course there are ways of adapting to the new system, I can understand the frustration of a casual gamer that feels like they just figured it out and now the game is demanding more time learnign the new rules that, if you were just mission running, aren't improving the game just messing it up. You have correctly found that eve is not the game for you and acted accordingly. That is why the people trolling posts like this are trolls.
CCP has a distinctly different way of doing things that rubs a lot of people the wrong way sometimes. They don't do everything right and they do somethings downright wrong. Still, you have to choose to be here so theres no point in complaining. (On the other hand a good bit of baiting fanboys is always fun)
Personally mid size ships are what I like, and if they get changed too much then I will be following you out the door. If not I'll totalyl stick around until GW2 comes out.... cause I'm totally a GW fan boy :D

As others said, just use light drones instead. You DO have a 75m3 drone bay on the raven, so you can carry both 5 med and 5 light drones.
Now, if only CCP made your drones warp away with you when you get disconnected, instead of staying there and get wtfpwnd by all those npcs your BS was tanking until a few seconds ago... This is the reason I was always carrying 7 hammerheads II, so I could at least replace some of them if I got cursed with a linkdead.

I'm curious as to what you refer to by "this" - the Drake only has space for a flight of light drones anyway, and its heavy missiles will have a much better effectiveness on smaller targets than the Raven's cruises. In fact the only thing that you can't do decent damage against are the frigates, and as was noted above your (light) drones will take care of them easily.
So not that cross-training Amarr isn't a good idea, but I get the feeling this is an instance of "grass is greener" syndrome.

Guided Missile Precision, a target painter, and suddenly the frigates dissapear with a salvo of three or four heavy missiles.

I was killing frigs within 20 or so seconds and 30 or so seconds against interceptors with hammerhead 1's ratting last night, what are you doing wrong?

first of many "On noes, i cant possibly use anything else so i quits"

To OP: As a Raven pilot I can't resist to say that you are obviously not able to look past your big guns. Seriously, a Raven can still put 5 x hammerheads and 5 x hobgoblins in it's drone bay - hammers for cruisers and goblins for frigs. BCs pop from 2-3 voleys of cruise missiles and you won't have any problems with BSs. If that doesn't work good enough for you you should consider fitting small or medium guns, since you have 8 high slots, 6 launcher points and still enough space to fit 1 or 2 guns. You won't get any ship based bonus for guns, but there's always a chioce of faction ammo (only one BC sized rat would cover the costs of faction ammo). After all, fitting a salvager to your missioning Raven isn't useful after the patch since your speed got nerfed by approximately 18%.

ok i must have downloaded a wrong patch or i am playing the old version of eve because i just finished two level 4 missions and frigates still die easily to my medium drones, granted that light drones do the job faster but i definitely was able to kill frigates in less then 10 minutes with medium drones (that is T1 drones).
Remember the reaven has 75m3 drone bay so you can carry 5 medium drones and 5 light drones = win 
Try fitting 4 cruise missiles launchers and 2 heavy launchers and try running missions you should have no problem. If you have good skills you could even fit 2 small railguns to finish up the frigates faster  |

You're a Raven pilot with T2 Hammerheads. You're (presumably) running level 4s. You're not a new player. You're just angry you're method of AFK mission running got nerfed and are too blind to see the good reasons behind it. You're simply a troll, trying to scare new players away from, in my opinion, the best MMO out there. Yeah, it's got bumps along the road and yeah, we all threaten to biomass and quit now and again. But we're still here. So either contract me your stuff and get out, or quit trying to scare off the newbies. Either way, your thread is terrible.
Actual new players, don't listen and try to enjoy the game like the rest of us.

Frankly either that's an exaggeration or a flat-out lie.
I've used T2 Hammerheads on frigates post-patch and had no problems at all. I haven't even really noticed them killing things slower.
If your drones take 10 minutes to kill a frigate your drone skills suck and you shouldn't even be running L4 missions.
