Curse, the ship i used to fly i can self distruct for what it's worth now, not to talk about the Pilgrim which was and is a piece of flying junk. Arazu now is uber. Falcon now is uber Rapier now is pointless Drakes now unbeatable by a Raven Shield tanking is a pathetic joke Signature tanking Jaguars now are Uber and so on. This patch has penalyzed heavily older players, giving every damn idiot who has played the game for 2 months the chance to sit in rifters and kill recon ships (except when an Arazu is around) Solo pvp goes down the drain if your not flying some t1 worthless junk, small group PVP is going to be unthinkable because this kind of gameplay pushes for megacorporations of NOOBS wih t1 BS and t1 support. Why have you (CCP) changed a game that was going more or less fine? so much for the sandbox eh? It looks like you have conducted a market analysis and you need a way of encouraging more players to start playing and be effective against all other players within a few munths (wich translated means that you want more money and dont care if i spent mine already for something that doesnt exist anymore) Thank you, i spent months if not years to skill for my ships as they are and now they are worth **, no incentive is left also to a CEO of a corporation of 20 players or so (translated in 4/5 active) to do PVP and enjoy it without hours in wait for an unfair gank. I should ask for my money back or a redistribution of my skillpoints. I think i might quit the game, why should i put my effort and money towards achieving some goals if you change them radically like this? And to all the idiots who post can i "Have your stuff: i say yes you can, send me some isk and i'll give back.10x worth. Dont have a nice day CCP, you dont deserve it. ...more angry whines i cant be bothered but you get my point. I'd like to be more rude but if i was others might not hear my rants. the nano nerf. noobs, ** your expansionist commercial tactics. I'm going somewhere else.

As a disclaimer, I've already adapted new warfare tactics, so I'm not ragequiting, but it's all too true that this entire patch is a bastardization of all PvP tactics formerly in place. Game designers = company that wants to make sales & grow profit. In order to grow profit they have to attract new players. They dumb down the game and widen the base they can draw on. They may lose a few older players due to their decision to make their time in game worth less than it used to be. However, they more than make up for that with all the new players who are attracted due to the new, easier gameplay.

Seriously, this needed balancing. The only thing that could counter speed was speed. That`s not rock/paper/scissors, which is behind the whole sandbox idea. CCP should be criticised for allowing the speed thing to develop like it did, not putting it right. Before it was less `Adapt or Die` and more `go very fast or die`. Suck it up.

Early days oc but my nano Vaga still seems to work fine... just need to watch for Rapiers & Arazus now...Against everything else there is even a buff in that they are even slower so easyier orbits, easyier to keep point on and less mwd needed so better DPS, or? Arguably my opinions represent to an extent the opinions of my alliance and in particular circumstances give rise to a valid "casus belli" claim.

I say this because I 100% disagree with every single point which is rare for me. taking them in turns: - rapier is still awesome - falcon was already uber - arazu is not uber, it is just slightly better. - shield tanking is not a joke at all. - sig tanking jaguars are just huginn food (but why should they not be fun, they always were a fun ship to fly). Solo Pvp is fine, small group pvp is enhanced, way more ships are viable than before when it was really just rapier/vaga/ishtar/falcon, relative speeds of any cruiser vs any non-cruiser make it so, similarly with frigates. You seriously should think again, I sense that really you are just a disgruntled mission runner, not a pvper as you say.
