Used missles on those that agroed and used drones on Spies.
Whole group did not open up and confirmed lost drones but you have spares :D
That was from before DT today on Gurista Serp L4

Any worlds collide which includes angels is tricky as hell.
A lot of catch & release with drones but it works.. given time

The only change for me with QR is to remove 2 of my 7 medium T2 drones and stick in 5 scout drones. Now instead of the medium drones I use the scouts to kill frigates. (They make short work of NPC frigates and I probably should have been using them all along anyway but I was lazy). And then I still have the mediums for anything larger than a frigate I want them to work on or help with.
As for WC. I just did Serpentis/Gurista which I always seem to get. Nothing changed for me in how I do it except the drones as described above.
I always leave the spies to last. I have done it that way forever. All I remember is that I would get agro after shooting the spies and they always pop my drones if I try to kill them first.
But this thread has me wondering so next time I get WC I'm gonna drone them and pull the drones back in and see if agro comes around to me. Might get exciting who knows. I haven't had full room agro in WC for a long time. |

WC Blood Raiders/Angels version:
Pre-patch to kill the 2 angel spys was 10 to 16 explosive cruise.
Post patch with target painter 27.
Cruise spec 4 and all support skills to 5.
So u still can still kill them with cruise its just more effiecent to leave them until last.

Or you can drop them with catch & release drone tactics.
Takes about a minute , and firing waves of cruise while the drones do their thing does speed it up.

This
I heartily concur.

I haven't seen the WC mission in months now... For all I know, it has completely disappeared like AE did for a long time.

i always fit 2 small t-2 guns or modulated lasers ect to kill the spys as i move away to range the rest, still works for me. You could also pay attention to what Mahj is saying as he obviously has quite a few clues on human behavior. |

Using drones to kill the frigs on either the angels side or sansha side only draws agro to the drones. Like u confirmed once they are back in ur dronebay everything is silent allowing you to pick off the seperate groups.
But maybe it is different for other factions ( ie not the sansha/angels version) Maybe someone can try a different version and clarify it for us?
Khazak
Confirmed. I have a corp mate who does Sansha / Angels WC who kills those frigs with no problem.
I however run the Serp / gurrista WC in which killing those drones causes full room agro.

I do Serpentis/Gurista WC, attacking angel spies with drones aggroes all nearby ships so i m tanking them till end and then finish them easily with T2 hobgoblins, using 1 Kinetic, 1 Thermal and 1 invu field for it in Raven

My strategy:
Warp in in crazy passive tanked Drake. Kill anything that's not a battleship. Warp out. Bring Raven in to kill battleships. Collect loot and salvage.

Serp/Guristas WC using Dominix:
Warp in, amble towards next gate, kill anything that aggros using drones. As soon as a drone is taking shield damage recall it. Release it or another drone immediately.
This drone tank has served me well so far. I use lights to kill the tacklers first since I usually run missions in low sec and don't want to be pinned down in case someone starts probing.

I did Worlds Collide level 4 against Gristas/Serpentis the other night.
I ran a faction fitted Cerberus with over 90% Kinetic & Thermal resists. It was a very easy mission with the Cerberus as I have near maximum heavy missile skills & as usual everything just melted with faction Kinetic missiles.
I have started to warm toward HACS for mission running & tend to use battleships, if runing in pairs, as a tank with sentries supporting the HACS.
I cant emphasise enough that if your choosen weapon is missiles you have to have level 4/5 in everything which supports missiles. The days of low missile skills killing everything are long gone.
