What's an e-bank and how does it work?
EDIT: nvm - found the info. I've been looking for something like this for months! Is it reliable? Can I trust billions of ISK on this?
Do some searching on eve-search and you will see various reports through out this forum (MD) as well as our 26 page annual report. EBANK has passed the 1 year mark and has been growing steadily. We mitigate risk by not lumping all our isk on a single person. Various people manage portions. While much of running EBANK is volunteer work, it is an experience I am glad to be a part of.
By Volunteer work I mean no one is getting rich off of the bank and there are times the general public does not understand we play EVE for fun too. |

Here is the financial report for last year. It basically sums up where EBANK is at right now and where it plans to be headed.
Feel free to join the EBANK channel ingame as well. You can usually get at least one staff member in there, and if not we have a good 10-40 freeloaders (jokes, I love you guys) in there at any one time most of whom would be happy to comment on their EBANK experiences.
Alternatively as Athre said, use eve-search. |

Thanks for the replies. Pretty amazing how much work you've all put it to make this uberness happen. Signed up for an account this morning after some searching. Time to make my money do some work.

I declare super ultra sneaky HAX's by EBANK!!!!!!!
Their logon splash ad that EON put up, is the first and only ad in my 3years of being an active member of EVE, that has displayed TWICE!!!!
Which is really funny since it says at the small print at the top that it only will display once.
I declare shenanigans!!!

i was looking at the ebank site it it seems there isn't a savings option anymore, any chance that'll be returning soon?
I'd like to put some spare isk into it but would the other accounts interest is as bad as my rl bank |

Saving accounts for new customers have been disabled for good.
We have a bond system in the pipe, which will have interest rates close or even higher than the saving accounts.
Please be patient and if you already have an EBANK account, update your email so you are notified first, when the feature hits our live server. |

For talkings' sake, lets say there was a Zbank who ran a similar ad and it turned out to be a scam, would CCP reimburse the lost isk due to it being advertised at the log in screen?
Even in real life advertising never confers any sort of guarantee that the company wont go bust/scam/run off with your money. Pretty much the same here. It's an advert only - though I think I understand where you're coming from and perhaps CCP could add a "we do not condone or support this message" as a footer much like Sony do at the start of all their DVDs these days.
