I'd had a 'meh' day up until this point.
Just joined this awesome lil' pirate corp yesterday, and I had set a little personal goal to become an outlaw by this weekend. Boy, I didn't know how easy it'd be. 2 pod kills last night and I was at around -4.5 already.
So, tonight I undocked with the intention of finishing my goal. I go roaming a bit, and to my delight I find a Caracal by himself at a planet on scanner. 'Might be a trap', I thought to myself, but figured 'what the hell' and went for it. A minute later he's dead, I manage to pod him. -4.97 sec status!
I sit at the planet to wait out my timer, it's quiet... the I see someone warp in. 'Oh ****!' I think, but then I notice it's just a Celestis. Checking out the wreck he found on scanner, maybe? I attack, and then I really go 'Oh, ****!!!' as a Thorax and Enyo jump in. I sick my Rupture's drones on the Enyo and finish off the Celestis. Surprisingly, my armor isn't going down as fast as I thought it would. I gawk in joy as the Enyo pops. I'm at structure, but the Thorax is doing jack squat damage to me. I orbit him at 10km, and not even 30 seconds later he pops.
I sit back, heart pounding. I just won a 3v1!!! I start to sift through the loot, and then three more jump in! 'Ok, I accept defeat, I had a good run...' Only, I realize they've locked me but not scrammed me. At 50% structure I warp out and dock! My Rupture survived in one piece. As I'm telling the amazing tale in corp chat, a corp mate says he next door and jumps in.
He warps in on the scene to find a Vexor and Celestis. He engages with his Stabber. I don't know what happened to the third guy, must have run away. I undock, manage to dodge the gate guns, and warp in to help finish the two cruisers off and pod the Celestis.

Ten minutes, eight kills including pods. One hell of a happy pirate.

I'm glad for you not only to have such a rewarding fight, but that you've written it up for posterity. You'll come back to this post now and then in the future just for the warm feelings.
