I have never flown a scorpion, and was wanting some advice from those that do or have. I am probably going to use it in small skimishes, against random types of ships. What I was interested in is do scorpion pilots usually try to jam more than 1 ship at a time or do you concentrate on just one.
Also multi jammers vs racial jammers. What do you perfer, do you find it more helpful to equip only 1 or 2 racials and the rest multijammers?
I would think that you could perma jam most ships with using only 4 multi's. But I don't have experience enough to know for sure. EFT says I get over 7 jam strength with 1 multi-jammer giving a total of 28. But doesn't take into effect the chance of it failing a time or two.
Can someone part with some advice or point me where there is a scorpion guide?

Practice in a Blackbird... much cheaper learning experiance.

You will often jam many targets depending on enemy fleet size.

I prefer racial, but since your fitting appears to only have room for 4 jammers, you might consider sticking with multi's

accually you have 4 chances at 7 strength, it does not add together.
I seriously reccomend flying a Blackbird for a while untill you get used to a jamming role.

For a standard scorp id go for somethin liek this:
[Scorpion, New Setup 1] Damage Control II 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I 1600mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Signal Distortion Amplifier II
Quad LiF Fueled I Booster Rockets Sensor Booster II BZ-5 Neutralizing Spatial Destabilizer ECM BZ-5 Neutralizing Spatial Destabilizer ECM BZ-5 Neutralizing Spatial Destabilizer ECM BZ-5 Neutralizing Spatial Destabilizer ECM BZ-5 Neutralizing Spatial Destabilizer ECM BZ-5 Neutralizing Spatial Destabilizer ECM
/Long Range Guns/ /Neuts/
Particle Dispersion Augmentor I Particle Dispersion Augmentor I [empty rig slot]
Alternatively a small shield buffer with one LSE instead of the sensor booster works as well with changing the armor mods for Signal dist amps and the rigs for shield resist ones.
Use 4 differnt racial jammers and then add more caldari ones, if you encounter falcons regularly fit an eccm, too.
If your gang uses battleships alot, your gang will be stronger when using remote rep fittings. For the scorp ti would mean, fitting an cap booster and 2 armor remote reps, downgrade to cruise launchers if needed, if not use sieges with javelins.
Learn the roopes with a blackbird, in a non remote rep gang your best chance to survive is staying at range, try to get a fleeing when you can warp at 100 to the battle while everyone goes closerange, or when you better stay close cause as example you need to jump etc.
