New guy question here. I've done some research on frigs and the best one that I could come up with for Mining operations and Courier missions, at least for low level characters, was the Probe. Has the largest cargo space on a frig that I could find. Seems fairly fast too, this I think would help on the courier missions anyhow. For now I've outfitted it with 2 miner 1's. Was hoping someone could recommend what to install for weapons on the med slots and low slots or shield upgrades. Its limited here I know, but i'm sure someone has come up with a good combination.

Also, should I mount guns or weapons of some type. Or just use speed to get out of danger?

Ok, glad to hear this. I was hoping to get into a ship that I could count on for quite a while. I've already upped the cargo hold with 2x cargo1 expanders which increased it to 491. This has already saved on repeated cargo runs with a significant increase in isk. I think thats its going to do what I accually want it too as far as the courier missions and mining. Really I was just wondering about the guns, already seems to have too few locations to mount them. I'm more interested in these "Cans" that were mentioned, did I guess right about them being some type of cargo containers? And 1 more question then, should I outfit it with shields or just speed and performance enhancers? If someone could answer that, then I promice not to ask anymore questions for awhile. Noobe signing out.
