This seems like a simple thing to implement, and would help keeping yourself organized much more simple.
Add nameable sub folders into the item hangar, I keep most of my assets all in one station and it's getting to be a pain to sift through them all to find what I want.
Being able to make folders such as "Missile Launchers" and "Mid Slot Items" would make things a lot easier.
P.S. If there is a way of doing this already, feel free to call me an idiot and such. (But tell me how to do it )

You could try what I do... I buy station warehouses (1.8m each?) and sort things that way. with 100,000,000m3 of space, it should hold everything you can throw at it - even ships. I use station warehouses for ammo, fittings & ore. I just use a small container for my bp's, skillbooks & anything else that's small. It's not as easy as tabs would be, but it works fine for me. |

They also work. I'm not 100% on their cost though... |

Edited by: Tsual on 19/11/2008 22:18:08 I've got quite a few containers distributed over the cluster and well besides the possibility to give them name and an id and keep a written log in notes for me it would be nice when I could see the log of the container from distance, or at least a log of what is currently inside. ******************** Moral is only usefull so far as society demands it from one to accept its presence.

Mine seem to cost around 200,000 each... not much unless you want lots of them, and of course you need new ones at each station .. or someone with a big hauler.
What really bugs me about cargo containers is you cant drag and drop items on to the cargo container icon to put them in it, and that an assembled container can still be reprocessed, I've lost a few by selecting all and hitting reprocess (after moving everything I wanted to keep in to the container).
If you have an assembled container it should not be able to be re-processed, especially if it has stuff in it! Dae.
