I think it would be beneficial to be able to scoop up life pods into cargo holds that can hold that volume. I can put one into my indy while in station and wondered why I cant do the same in space. I have a corp that advertises in emergency rescue, and it would help out so much heheh. But it would help other folks in larger corps with indy's to go help fetch their fallen comrades instead of making them travel long distances to get to a station for a rookie ship. Another Idea, how about installing waste removal services on stations, I have lots of junk i wish i could just dump into one instead of jetisoning it out into space. Think of all the near-misses folks have docking and undocking at stations that have numerous empty lifepods and other debris floating about it.

Would be nice if we could do something with the debris thats out there, yes. Blow them up and scoop some alloys/minerals/ore. Something that just doesn't make them pure decoration?

When my trash backs up at stations, i go around to collect them up in my indy. Then i go right outside the station and line them up for some target practice. but not all folks have indys.

I agree with this and I even tried to get rid of some this debris yesterday.. but because these ships are marked as being players the sentry guns were a bit ****ed at me.. and I was forced to make a hasty retreat and was unable to return to that station for about 10 mins.. so plz if its not your pods you can't shoot them near the bases.. so if people have junk.. atleast throw it off at a nearby planet where everyone willing to have target pratice can have a go.
I also would like to see a some sort of trash dump or that CCP adds the basic equipment to be able to be recycled for the grand minerals of 1 trit each. so not to be able to make cash out of this.

There should be an exclusion zone around stations, where you cannot jettison anything.. just like you can't whilst warping.

I agree with u all, I remember like it was yesterday when first reading about EvE that one carreer would be a garbage collector which I found funny and decided than and there that I would become an Indy driving trash heap mother. So far Ive shot pirates collected loot, traided for millions and now Im mining and shooting pirates on the coffebreake.
I WANT MY DREAM TO COME TRUE, I WANT TO BE A TRASH HEAP MOTHER!!!!! U HEAR THAT CCP?????
