I'd say the most important part of "traditional" piracy is to always honor your word. As ya can see...from the not so informative replies so far...they are not in for the profit..but simply mass destruction....which last time I checked...closely resembled terrorism...not piracy. You (if ya choose to pirate) usually have less than 30 secs to decide whether or not ya goona profit from a target by demanding a ramsom fee...any longer than that...and ya chances of successfully gettign it AND getting away with it ...drops significantly. Thus..ya options also decrease..which ususlly results in the target being destroyed..and you hoping for some noteworthy cargo, or equipment which is uncommon at best Ghost Festival is recruiting...

Winidin Minmatar Out-Rage	Posted - 2008.11.22 16:01:00 - [34] Edited by: Winidin on 22/11/2008 16:02:41 Piracy: Spending unfortunate hours trying to get people to stop docking when you pop up in local or to actually engage you outside of a station...since they're all in there anyway and only occasionally pop up and hug it to see what's outside and if you're gone yet. It also involves requiring massively intricate traps to catch most anything these days because you have to make it not look like a tarp...or just hang a really nice bit of bait on the line... But my personal addition to that...piracy is not limiting yourself to certain targets and trying to get the most out of the game and PvP. You don't have to go around murdering everything you see, and can instead just mess with the people in system...but killing works best most of the time.
