What the game needs is "P0wniez": like the famous "Head in a jar", this is the body of a conquered foe floating in space, that's been given the formaldehyde treatment. P0wniez can be kept in hangars where they will later be on display, whenever we get to walk in stations. Choose which color jar your P0wnie is displayed in for a festive mood, or to color code your P0wniez according to their relative importance.
You can buy a certificate of some kind and have the P0wnie displayed in your character sheet, much like your medals. Each P0wnie would cost 10 million, it would be a perfect ISK sink, only this one would be worth every penny, because you could show the world how bad you 0wnz0rz.
P0wniez are awarded to both the person inflicting the most damage to the target and the killing shot, if they are different people.
If your character is older than 5 years, all your P0wniez up to that point will be displayed in an aquarium that is delivered to you free of charge in recognition of your great contribution to New Eden's thriving manufacturing industry.

Everybody wants a pony. Even me.
Of course, I never got one. 
And when I was six, my parents told me that there was no Santa Claus, and even if there were, he would never bring me a pony because I was bad and would never amount to anything and nobody loves me.
To this day.... I swear....
