I still miss beta 6.1, where you had the AWP with crosshairs, one shot kills and perfect accuracy while jumping and people were complaining about the scoped/silenced Colt being too good! -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity.

ZeeWolf	Posted - 2004.07.09 23:54:00 - [9] the Steam client can be filtered to show only secure games... i.e games with no mods or hacks, just a good old gun fest. u can download it at steampowered.com providing u have a copy of either the pre-GOTY HL, GOTY HL, Generations or OpFor or Blueshift CD Keys.

ZeeWolf	Posted - 2004.07.10 00:55:00 - [13] i kept the old Allies Win music from the early DoD releases and then overwrote the newer Steam version one... so now its just like the old days... except less lag, bugs and more folk to shoot.

It auto patches so you dont have to hunt on sites for them, it has a friends list so u can instantly join the same server as them. and also there isnt all the crappy command script while the game loads. Yarrick	Posted - 2004.07.10 18:44:00 - [27] the Original DoD was one of the best games i have ever played. =], the graphics although poor were still rather good, but the gameplay was what kept it going, you just werent allowed to get bored in that game there was so much to do. _____________________________________________
