It was my impression, at least from earlier interviews that characters in ambulation would look like the hard bitten professionals that pod pilots are supposed to be.
However, from the (albeit slim) evidence we see, instead pod pilots are dressed to look like extras from The Fifth Element.
from the gallery shot i thought the (clearly deteis) caldari male was a fine approximation of the neo-n a z i jack boot tyrannical uniform i was expecting.
Im sure it will surprise you, Caldari will be dressed like the 3rd reich, the matar birds will look like turkish brothel ****s, the amarr will look like mad monks and snooty birds and the gallante boys will look ghey and the birds like 30 buck crack ho's.
All in, good job CCP.
I'll have you know that i will not be looking like a participant in a turkish brothel... i will be the 6'4" amazonian warrior goddess who laughs at all of the 5'4" Achura midgets, before crushing them at the in-station minigames, what with combat being non-existant in station

Being completely serious (for as short a time as possible), I will be disappointed if the facial modifications don't allow, and the clothes available don't support, the air of condescension I so carefully crafted into my avatar.
In other words, if my character ends up looking as emo as those screenshots, he really will /wrists.

Im just wonderin why, out of all the WiS screenies ive seen, i havnt seen a single non-caldari male. I know they look good and all in there shiny suits, but i wanna see the crazy gallante clothes. Anyways not sure if the Gall guys would look gay (lost post to qoute  ), for some reason I envisioned them havin harder chins (civire dont count, its not a chin its a whole other organism) than the pencil pushin caldari sado-masicists .
But yea, not sure if i wanna see my 3d avatar, judging from his face, he aint pretty.

judging by the screenies, i suppose the devs have pre-empted all (most) forms of females donning the skin tight gallante attire, seein we'll be able to buy it. Oh and yea, nothin wrong with a lil eye-candy even if it isnt real.

I will say one thing. If there isn't a cool animation for exiting your pod it will be as epic a fail as the recent announcement of no ship hanger to walk into. From the looks of the above pic you can see 2 mechanical arms that pry the doors off the pod. Pretty cool.
I wanna fall on the floor coughing up goo. No exceptions. Is this a small thing to whine about...yes. Does it make it any less relevant for me...nope.

CCP have allready said that the player don't want things like undocking and docking animations. the same will go for this, players don't want it so why would they waste their time with something useless that will only be used once.
