Revisionist history ITT.
Since all the ex-brucies in this thread are liars and stuff, perhaps you could tell us how it really happened?

True. But not the whole truth.
The part that you are missing is that you killed BRUCE while it was exhausted and weakened.
BRUCE faced challenges before you guys - and overcame them. A less exhausted alliances at the very least could have moved elsewhere even if we couldn't find a way to beat PL. --- Save the forum: Think before you post. ISK BUYER = LOOSER EVE TV- Bring it back!

BRUCE did move. To Syndicate. Where BRUCE disbanded.
It doesn't matter if PL, SoT and whoever else 'exhausted' BRUCE or not. They are dead and these threads suck.

To be fair - He's right - what was left of BRUCE did attempt to move back to Syndicate - T22 in Y4Y Constellation to be exact (our home after they left). I have to say though that I tend to believe their explanations that really just elaborate and give greater detail. I don't think they are trying (like so many alliances do after failing) to disparage the impact PL et al had, but to add details that were missing.
How many times have we seen the bloat followed by the crash? BRUCE aren;t the only ones it happened to - indeed, we went through a similar stage, but luckily retreated from it, and thanks to some great leadership (salutes Z), manage to put it back together and pull through.
No need to flame I think guys - there was lots not to like about 'em, but credit where credit is due.

TROLL/THORN Unknown Des down MK7/JQV way, Outbreak/Black Plague/Digital hanging out from Reb, NO TR doing their usual thing from TA. Comparatively quiet, but some excellent (hi-qual) fights against OB n friends. Still as fun as ever, but more peeps into the mix are ALWAYS welcome. _______________________

Yup. Last ditch attempt to halt the cascade. But things were falling apart on the way already.
Between a well entrenched and very active Huzzah in Y4Y and the JQV napfest and BRUCE activity going down while many of the remaining members did stuff in empire (missions, FW, whatever) we never got the ball rolling again. By that time we had suffered a long series of setbacks - including 2 thefts (not bancrupting - but morale sapping). And every few days another corp left.
We hardly had any active FCs left. And the couple that tried valiantly for a while only got decent fleets a couple of times or so - almost always outmatched by Huzzah. Diplomatic attempts got nowhere and even old allies in JQV went red eventually.

I love BRUCE posts. Do some searching for me + BRUCE on Eve-Search. I'm all up in your face and stuff.
Yeah, that's right... I reach my hands down your pants and I don't feel nuts.

Certainly not. Of the local players it was PL that did most of the damage. SoT added some pain here and there. But PL didn't need them to outmatch us and SoT by itself wouldn't have beaten us even at our weakened condition at the time I think - so SoT was irrelevant in that regard.
BoB came to visit for some fun big battles - but I don't remember them trying to really conquer much beyond that border outpost. And the Goon harassment ops were already over by then.
It was PL that captured the value moons and then dismantle our POS infrastructure, finally conquering outposts - putting lots of pressure on our logistics and hurting military morale.

Congrats. Is Huzzah still the dominating force in that area?

Interesting. Changed *again*. :-)
One of these days I'll activate my Syndicate JC and have a lookaround. ;-)
For some reason many people tend to look down on Syndicate. Yet it is my favourite region and has been for years. It's interesting and comes without sov pos spam. Some decent agents and some valuable systems. Strategic nookholes and almost always several alliances, corps and assorted folks who meddle with each other. Much more dynamic than most other regions IMHO.
BRUCE was my 2nd time in lower Syndicate. First time was with 3FA (another fine and fun alliance that eventually failed). Funnily OSS and Goons were blue to us in 3FA but red while in BRUCE. Funny old world. ;-) --- Save the forum: Think before you post. ISK BUYER = LOOSER EVE TV- Bring it back!

Props to PL and TRI elements that helped push BRUCE out of Fountain. The execution of HAC Sniping was done very well.
But being one of the people on some what of the inner circle, you were only a portion of the problem. Zaphod was an issue but it magnified a much larger problem: while there were many cooks in the kitchen with the Reps only a few people were actually executing the decisions. I think it was mainly related to security concerns but upper end recruiting into FC/Logi Coordinators/Isk Handlers wasn't in line with the number of people we brought in.
The other problem was the destruction of the LOLs PVP. Much of Fountain was blue with BRUCE (including SoT and PL) before hostilities. Cloud Ring was the only source of quick and fun pewpew. After we crushed RECON, we ended up throwing out the PVP that wasn't related to POSes and superlag fests. This resulted in the more PVP oriented people becoming disenfranchised and the more PVE oriented people becoming rusty.
o/ to Fried, Mendo, and the rest of FOOM. Nice to see ya'll around still.
