Im done with CCP kicking the can down the road with this one. I've left before, i dont mind leaving again. I will no longer support a game that allows for 5 neutral RRs to rep someone just to have them be scott free in 15 minutes.
I will not support a game that allows for someone to wardec a corp, fight a little and then jump to another corp before finding an opportune time to jump back to the dec'd corp to hit on people and then go back when the fight is over.
Im done with it. ******* had it. im not mad at losses, **** i have billions in my account, replace whatever the **** i want. Im just tired of ****** programmers or Solution Architects who suck balls. Fix the issue. Your pissing newbs off, your pissing veterans off with over 100 m SP, your just pissing people off in general as you let these exploits go. This is worse than someone buying isk from a chinese farmer.
Im not paying for a game when BETA-LIKE **** like this happens. IT feels like a game in BETA and your focused on "in-game' walking in station. Fix what you have first.....
My suggestion is this... and im a technical lead for ericsson as well as have developed for many of the big fortune 500s.
24 hours they are red(if at war). Not this 15 minute crap most neutrals are tied to.
24 hours they cant hop corp after aggression(if at war) (tough ****, dont aggress)
if they join the "said" corp they cant fight when a fight is already going on... do a simple flag check with the corp and their aggression timer with the corp they are at war with.

CORP "WANNABE" is freidn of "EXPLOITERS"
EXPLOTERS and CAREBEARS duke it out and fight. EXPLOITERS cry because CAREBEARS have teeth and call in WANNABE.
WANNABE members join EXPLOITERS during a fight to kill CAREBEARS.
ACTUAL:
WANNABE's fight then go back to original corp afterward with only 15 minute aggression timer.
EXPECTED:
24 hours time limit until WANNABEs can run away like little girls to their original corp to avoid fighting.
hell no its not formal.... just fix it.

A: We're adding tracking in the backend to track this. How we will then display it in game is undecided, but we do have stories in the backlog (todo list) for the character war history to show if the character left a corp at war. We also want to have it cost a little to corp-hop during a war. We're also looking into not allowing you to join a corp you've left during a war while that war is still ongoing. We're also exploring some limitations to joining and leaving a corp on the fly.

No... i choose not to support a game with beta-like features. End of story. You guys can go ahead and support CCP, but this has been going on for almost a year and is growing more prevalent with time. |

The answer is pretty easy, and i gave it prior. This will be fixed as CCP already is acknowledging this is an issue. They just dont know how to fix it. Not about being butt hurt or whatever you want to think of as imbalance. Point is it is an exploit. It is blatantly an exploit as ANYONE short of the people doing it will tell you.
Mark my words... this will eventually be fixed. Until it is, im not going to participate in supporting CCP. My choice, tough.
Everyone plays the game differently and my way is no different than some miner mining a belt for hours or 0.0 blobs of LOL in nullsec. These are all irrelevant and short sighted.
The point is that it is incredibly abused and if you dislike what i say, petition CCP TO KEEP IT. Let me say this... it will not stay the way it is. I dont care if 100 people gangrape me in the middle of 0.0...stupid mistake within the rules of the game, but the b.s. i brought up is a flaw.
I've stated what can be done and how to fix it and it will eventually come to those lines one way or another, its just that they will continue to sweep it under the rug until they figure some sort of balance issue. |
