Fountain is full of small gang warfare these days as renter after renter revolt against Pandemic Legion and Sons of Tanga (SoT).
One of the results of the constant attrition on SoT forces is their POS network has fallen into disrepair and is almost in a state of collapse.
No longer are SoT mining ops using refineries, no longer are SoT exploration ops mining much celadon gas.
So today, in PNQ, it wasn't much of a surprise when their large tower went offline. This wasn't any large tower--it was the center of their drug manufacturing business.
To make matter worse, it wasn't out primetime and no one was available.
The missions quickly converted to a strike force of 2 zealots fitted for damage and a rapier to scout.
We found the enemy pos offline as reported.
2 medium drug arrays
1 complex drug arrays
9 various silos all filled with either products or raw materials...
PNQ local was 4.
After the first array popped, an occator entered PNQ and warped to the tower. Both zealots switched targets and started to pummel it. The occator has to warp out before restarting the tower--WHEW!
POP POP POP--silos started popping and the cans were examined--15000 celadon gas, 23000 spirits, 9000 water...
The reactors started popping--and local spiked!
A taranis warped in but at 120 KM! They didnt even have their own tower bookmarked!
The taranis closed and a zealot warped in on the taranis. The rapier uncloaked, pointed the taranis and the enemy zealot quickly killed the rapier but the taranis popped at the same time.
Instantly the 2 zealots on our side pointed the SoT zealot and melted it. The zealot popped. Local was rising again, and with one silo left and our recon dead, we decided to head back to the free section of fountain.
For about 2 weeks now, PNQ has been the front line with nothing from hophid to PNQ except lone reds and some isolated towers that they are fueling in the off hours.
Today at least we managed to hit the SoT infrastructure hard, and give a valuable morale boost to all the renters who are now fighting Sot. Yes, SoT can't even protect THEIR own pos in their station system!

Gratz on destroying several modules in a private offlined tower. Too bad you can't even reinforce an online tower with no guns - last few months showed that. Tower is back online and well. So this seems the best you can brag about - gratz again m8.

Lol thats definatelly remind me one other forum post, about Requeim (Resurgency) intel about SoT. It was very funny to read it and now you again prove it. SoT and minning, thats at least to say funny. Yep you found one tower who is private owned for drug producing, and the person who owned it was offline last few days. So we call (by phone) him to come and fix his tower and we send few ships to scare you away from there.
Renters who are fighting against us plz come and check out POS network, is it works or not :P
Yea you hited us verry hard SoT will never be able to restore our mining capability after this losses!

Tbh the SOT guys put up the best fights in fountain from all the other alliances out there , i have respect for them , so i expect some decent fights soon

In a more serious note. SOT is disbanding, the internal struggle is HUGE, corporations and solo members are leaving. We had our e-peen/e-honor and other e-shet cut, killed, buried etc.
