Edited by: Schwermetall on 24/11/2008 11:35:42 The Guys from MH and G-Fed tried to fight back, but were always outnumbered.
So after getting whacked for almost 2 Months now, and realising they are fighting an enemy with higher numbers, better Ships and better Pilots, MH decided to move back to their Space in Branch.
There arent really any big fights i can think of, aside the usual gangs of 40 Guys in Drakes and Ravens getting killed by 200 Russians.

Couldn't register on Scrapheap and as for CAOD - well, I have tried to describe the progress of our peace enforcement activities in the Drone Regs.
To put it shortly - it actually started with IRON being removed from Drone regs. No major battles there except a good doomsday or too from our side.
Then similar thing goes with MH - we take down systems one by one, make a hotdrop here and there, a mom kill or two, with MH giving only some resistance in the beginning, and little to none in the end. Cap statistics: something about 50+ caps and 3 moms lost by MH, UH and G-Fed. From our side - I think less than 10 altogether (Solar and xDeathx), but I may be wrong.
The last stations have been taken last Sunday, so the campaign is officially over. ------------------------------------------ "Russian is an unusual language if you're not used to it. It is like speaking to angry aliens from the planet of Murder or something" Nick Breckon |

I wasn't in MH for the final stand, but I don't believe one ever happened. I left MH about a month ago because there seemed to be this sense of foreboding in the alliance that was driving down participation/moral. Arguments on the forums about this and that, mostly worthless drivel. Was depressing in the last days, especially having been in MH for over a year (and moral was really high at the beginning of this war).
Anyway, this is how I remember things:
IRC/ED started the war rolling with a little bit of SF/XXDeath support. IRC/ED attacked the MH station system in MK- and just as it looked like they were going to take it MH had a huge surge and regained superiority in MK- and the few systems around it we had lost.
After IRC and ED got ripped a new one by MH and MK- IRC/ED got sent home and the Russians took over the job themselves. Another battle for MK- happened with Russian titans being deployed offensively and MH unable to form a cap fleet. y-raw falls, MK- falls, 87- falls, 5ED falls over about a two week period.
SF/XD stop bringing the hurt to the station systems and instead focus on taking all of MH's highend moons. Taking one or two a night for a good few weeks while MH called each other names on the forums. Got to the point where Solar would sometimes have 10-12 dreads without a support fleet killing MH POSes.
We had one battle to defend one of Fusion's prom moons where Solar was using 10 dreads with no support to shoot the POS. We managed to get together about 30 people, half BS half useless, and almost killed one of the dreads before getting hot dropped by a MOM and a few carriers who quickly repped it out of structure. Solar support shows up and locks down system (this taking place over a few hours).
Anyway, SF/XD finished taking all the high ends that weren't in the station systems of VY-, Q-V (Sov 4), 42 and MO-. The Russians having cut off our southern supply route soon work on taking HB and VY (HB being the first system into MH space from Razor space, VY being the first station system). They don't so much take them at first as just make them totally useless to MH, which causes more frustration and infighting among MH. So MH is basically unable to resupply it's members (also because Goonswarm was in the north and refused to blue MH making the pipe through Tribute hostile in addition to Tri/GBC).
Forgot to mention that IRC/ED dismantled MH's cyno-route to empire which had to go through their (IRC/ED/SF/XD) space as Tribute and Cobalt Edge are too far apart to jump caps between. This was one of the first things that happened.
Don't know what happened after I left the alliance which was a few days before VY- went red.
MH still has their two station systems in Branch. --------------------- Get out of my dreams and into my van. |

Your account is slightly flawed. You never ripped us a new one. Not once.
IRC withdrew from MH space because we never had any intentions on contesting sov with you folks, we were only interested in getting pewpew. With the local reds being whittled down to zero, we didn't have much choice. The pickings were rather slim. Our friends, on the other hand, had all intentions on taking your space. So we politely packed up and came home and sought out other opportunities to fly and train our pilots on.
I appreciate your account, but it was rather thin on truth.

I was never a member of MH's high command or anything that would have "in the know" privilege but from the grunt perspective, one day IRC/ED was sacking MK-, the next, we had all your towers reinforced and two MOMs with a few carriers/dreads logged off at a tower that was bubbled to hell.
This looks like a spanking to me. That was the decisive battle before IRC and ED stopped assaulting MH space.
Never ever ripped a new one. (yea weak :P)

You never killed any of those, and I find that to be somewhat more important

Why doesn't your killboard show the four dreads and two carriers that we killed during the same time frame? Quite a lot missing from there when you compare it to the other folks killboards.
Never ever ripped a new one. (yea weak :P)
I'm not sure what a battle consisting of less than a dozen people has to do with this discussion, particularly one that happened in July.
From our perspective it looked like IRC/ED were sent home by SF/XD because you were unable to get the job done. I don't know that to be truth but it is how it looked to us.
Really, you should get your killboards synched with some of the other folks who make it a point to keep their boards accurate. Here is a link for you: http://kb.intrepidcrossing.org/?a=kills&w=37&y=2008
A honest review of the boards shows it was actually pretty close. When I look at week 37 and 38, it indicates you folks lost about 8 caps to our 1 loss.
No sense fussing and moaning over this. As I said, we withdrew from your space for our own reasons. It wasn't based off of your combat prowness.

Well MH is a good alliance that's taken a lot of heat for some things. None of this was ever mentioned about us fighting them is because we don't need to spam all over caod to tell and gloat. We fought for 2 months and even if it was slow we still hung in there. For that with no other support but from the allies we did have in the area. I think we did well. We are still here and kicking unlike some alliances after losing there homes. You always have the leavers and people that expect wars to be simple slow. Which most people that fought for there space knows it isn't. This doesn't mean we epic failed and all that bs we held out could have done better but things came out as is. We have learned from it and now are moving on. So good fight and all that jazz.

First and foremost, M. Corp did not apply to Razor. I would know as I'm Co-CEO of M. and I would have had to make the decision to do so. Get your facts straight before you post please, it makes things so much easier.
Second, congratulations Xdeath/Solar! You fought well in CE and you beat us outright. There was minimal smack and for that I was grateful.
As was stated by Tweakalvos, MH is not over. We have plans to move forward and grow. Anyone of importance knows the rough history M. Corp and know our fighting spirit. I am pleased to say that MH has that same enthusiasm.
For those who have fought against MH, you fought well and we look forward to seeing you on the battlefield again someday.

you obviously wernt in oasa then , MH guy were there everyday in which no IRC support was willing to jump through 2 jumps through the cyno route from DIZney land to help :P your active campign on the KB for oasa defence was a very low % of which that where MH were attacking
and i distincly remember that the russian did tell you to pull back as you couldnt hold your own because you coulnt get the fleets together as everyone was just ratting/mining and go help them take out already dying IRON in malpais after they moaned that you wernt helping with there offensive
i think it was a good 20-30 man roaming gang that went to oasa like everyday (nanohacs)
EDIt : im going to speak truthly here for a sec i dont like poasting on CAOD but when stuff need to be said stuff need to be said ...malpais was very booring, lack of fleets in size of fleet peiod( with that many members 100 man fleet should be easy to obtain at any time but never ever reached that number for my entire 4 months in IRC ) and a call to arms which only 10% of the entire alliance actually attended because everyone else was ratting and making isk =(ignoring those calls)
i would say if it wasnt for all the blues you have i would say that IRC wouldnt last long on it own, with that cuffufle with the moon and goon everyone was ready to attack but when you actually got a fleet together as word was out that a 200 man goon fleet was on there way we only managed to pull a 50 man fleet out of the 4th biggest alliance in the game at that period. there were arguements and undermining when the IRON campaign was afoot and whas just a shambles. it been a few months since i left there so i dont know how it is now though on a positive note you guys have a good supercap production in DIZ churning them out
