Ok this going on my nerves, three day i played here i doubt i want to anymore ITS REALLY ANNYOING!

Yeah I am getting the same issues too, I know that posting this will be the same as beating a dead horse, but something MUST BE DONE  .
I get the same C++ runtime library error: "The application asked runtime to terminate in an unusual way" when I get to the Sub...thingy after selecting your character and I haven't even played the game yet  .
Also, when I am at the avatar creation screen, everything is black except for the buttons. I can sortof see the faces/backgrounds but not really.
I am running on a relatively new system with AMD Athlon XP 3000+, 2.16 GHz, 512DDR RAM with integrated graphics (64MB shared) and a cable connection. I am also behind a Norton firewall. |

Two different problems..
The C++ runtime library error occurs when your graphics card does not have Hardware T&L support. Eve requires this to run.
For all the ppl with the black screen, you might want to try deleting your Eve cache.

Deleting EVE cash?
Anyway i can play for 12 hour in a row then it strikes me like a ton of bricks, black screen every time i dock.

Neverending black loading screen is just the usual stuck problem. In any case what you should do when you experience this is to login with an alt character and file a stuck petition about your stuck character. We'll then move your stuck character to another system, which fixes this issue. Finally, one tip for you new players. Please join the ingame chat channel "help". It's always filled with a bunch of people trying to help other players. In 90% of the cases you can find help there.

Im getting a similar experience when Im docking. I have 2 accounts running on the same machine and for a long time there are never any problems. Today though everytime one of my characters dock I get the never ending black screen (relogging fixes it but its still a real pain the neck when im running agent missions).
I tried it with the other character and it has no problems docking. Since both accounts have been running off the same exe for almost a month now with no problems before Im wondering what could be causing this. BTW I've cleared the cahe folder twice already so it isnt that.
I have the body of a supermodel. I just can't remember where I left it... |

yep.. now i get the black sceen to and its been 1 day now that i cant logg :( .. and it stays on balck untill i get that i lost conection to the server... :( and even if i click on the petition button ingame nothing apears so i cant really petition.. any other way to draw the attention of the devs?

You will have to redo all the custom settings but this routine really does fix a great many Eve problems, give it a try.
