Cruz	Posted - 2004.07.10 22:41:00 - [5] err I think CCP just wants implants to be more common now, before with the implant exploits and whatever CCP wanted implants to be elite, now with all the veterans having 7+mil skill points, CCP wants noobs to catch up, and to do this you get implants all over the place :D .................

Mainly from L2 Agents from Roden Shipyards and Boundless Creations - I am working my way into the good graces of some Tech2 R&D Agents... I even got one off a kill mission from Boundless Creations although I think that one was a purely random occurance as I think it is more common to get implants from "Important" misisons that affect faction however it should be noted I had to do 30+ "Important" missions for every one that gave me an implant (2 each). The other way to get implants is to buy them - I have mine listed via Escrow in Essence and Sing Laison Regions for faily steep prices.

(both Charisma+3 implants) Funny fact: 5 times I have got an implant on the 1st job for a new L3 agent.... Corp Chief Engineer

Over the course of 13 importants I received 9 implants. The other agent never gave me one until after the June patch. At the same time my implant agent appears to have been given more important mission types so he no longer gives out as frequently. I guess what I'm saying is there is a lot of luck involved in getting a good agent and if you haven't received an implant after doing a number of importants it might be time to move on.
