In other words, stop jet can mining in secure space and use secure cans, no such thing as an ore thief as the ore didn't belong to you after you threw it in the garbage.

so, i should stop using cans that are biodegradeable and will dissipate in an hour or so, and replace them with ones that are permanent? isn't that a contradiction?
furthermore, if you would communicate with others, they might inform you that they plan on removing their "trash" when they are done working.

you didn't comment on the contradiction stated. and, i believe there is a local chat channel you can use. if that fails, you can send an eve-mail or even start a private conversation with the miner if you wanted to be nice about it. check out the Online FAQ, or check out the Help or Hilfe channels in-game by clicking on the Channels icon in your NeoCom (the big bar of buttons to the left or right-hand side of your screen or game window, depending on your configuration) for information about interacting with other players. this is an MMORPG afterall...

Besides, as I posted earlier, CCP clearly states that removing ore from a jettison container is well within the limits of gameplay and therefore ACCEPTABLE!

do any of the ore thieves out there go randomly popping tires and breaking windshields of cars left in peoples driveways in real life? if not? why?
do you ever go and landscape someone else's lawn because they are too lazy to do it themselves?
what about roadkill? any of you thieves go about cleaning up roadkill? or picking up trash? ya know? "cleaning up the planet"??
