EVE Online: Quantum Rise 1.0.2 will be deployed this Thursday, 27th October. Tranquility will be down from 11:00 GMT to 15:15 GMT for this patch deployment.
Quantum Rise 1.0.2 mainly consists of changes and fixes to weapon grouping, graphics and the user interface. Patch Notes are available; updates to the notes may be added should any further items be cleared through the Quality Assurance process. These updates will be highlighted with green text.

Is this patchnote correct? According to the devblog here it is supposed to get a bonus to armor hitpoints, not a bonus to armor repair amount.
It still gets the armour HP bonus, the armor repairer boost amount was fixed here. The two Occator transport skill bonuses are:

+5% armor repairer boost amount per level +5% bonus to armor HP per level

Is this just a change to the flavor text? Or are you making any change to the way hit quallity is made?
It was only a display issue.

I hope so. The space cleanup downtime database job did not run for a few days, not doing anything. The space dustmen have now returned to duty.

Originally by: Caldreis What is the reason behind changing orca shield recharge rate? It is not as if we can passive tank it effective as a drake! *plus it is very dramatic change from 800 second to 2100 second*
2100 second divide by 60 is 35 min.
800 second divide by 60 is 13 min.
WAY more than double.
You need to consider the other half the equation (shield capacity) and what the effective shield recharge rate is (shield capacity / shield recharge rate) coupled with the module possibilities and raw HP tank considerations and compare that to other ships. It was simply far too high and had to be reduced.

Originally by: Zaiyo Modi Q: What does this info from the patch notes mean?
"The blueprint for Gurista Citadel Torpedoes has been removed."
It means the blueprints could be auto linked or searched in contracts despite there being no blueprints ingame as these are not manufactured so they were removed from the various searches.

Thanksgiving is a US holiday, not an Icelandic one and is a normal workday for us.
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the EVE Online Store will not ship out any orders on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28. All orders placed after 10 am EST on Wednesday, November 26 will be shipped out on Monday, December 1
So you guys don't recognize US holidays huh?
Operations, deployment and maintenance of Tranquility is done from Reykjavfk, Iceland (Tranquility is located in London, UK).
The original plan was to deliver all post-Quantum Rise last Tuesday (25 Nov) but we decided to split up the release and deliver the critical fixes in 1.0.1 last Saturday (22 Nov) so players would have a better weekend experience. We then had to postpone the second part until tomorrow, Thursday (27 Nov).
The EVE store is located in Atlanta GA, USA. Our US office observes US holidays.

If this is true, where do I send the beer and hookers?
I'm married so no hookers please, keep them to yourself. But the beer:

I'm fond of Budweiser Budvar (the Czech version), Grolsch, Pilsner Urquell, Samuel Adams, Stella Artois to name a few

While I fully don't expect exploit updates prior to a patch, patch notes haven't (correct me if I'm wrong) for a considerable length of time listed exploits after deployment.
Is this a concious change? I've been curious about this for a while now.
I think CCP Mitnal was only referring to regular bugs, that the release notes are updated as more fixes are included.
We do not publish details on exploit fixes and we do not discuss them.

Originally by: Maria Kalista Dear Explorer,
Since you are obviously reading this topic, could you please give a flimsy hint on the status of the memory leak-bug?
Dear Maria,
Most of the memory and client performance related fixes were deployed last Saturday and most of the fixes today are functional fixes of various types.
There are however a few additional memory, graphics and client performance fixes in the today's release. From the release notes:
Quote:
- The cache settings for the Classic mode and Premium mode are now stored separately.
- Orbital maps in the solar system show info window now display correctly.
I do notice that one fix in today's release is missing from the release notes, a fix that addresses a memory leak in certain circumstances.
In tests we did this week we saw FPS improvements between 1.0.1 and 1.0.2. One specific scenario tested was 200 entities in the same bubble, all shooting, and demonstrated fair improvement.

Hi. If the client starts up with a black screen, I suggest that you clear clear your cache and settings folder. Info on how to do this can be found here: http://support.eve-online.com/Pages/KB/Article.aspx?id=371

Hi.
Try the following:
1. Open Finder 2. Hit shift-apple-G 3. Type: ~/Library/Preferences/ 4. Move the entire EVE Online preferences folder to the trash 5. Restart the client.
