Nothing seemed to pop up on te search, so I ask here. Are there regularly scheduled events ingame or lan groupings for the Seattle area? I am not even sure how many players there are in my state! If this is appealing lets organize.

not from seattle, but close enough to count. If any event does happen in Seattle, myself and a couple of friends from across the sound would be there in a heartbeat.

I'm in Seattle, but just signed up for my first three months. From Northern Ireland actually, been living here about six years.
Would love to get together for some kind of event and will join the channel when I get of work.

Search harder, there is another much longer thread for Seattle area. In game people can join the chat channel TheSound to talk to others from the Pacific Northwest.

slowly but surely we are getting people sounding off in the area. Looks like there might be enough a table reservation somewhere. We should start thinking about where to meet/eat. I like Denny's or Shari's. (I just like cheap food). If there are any vegans we might have to suggest someplace that serves veggie burgers.
Also where is the Sounder channel you mention located? In game? IRC?

I'm a hobo, so I'm always available. You people who slave away your lives can set a time that is "convenient" for ya' and I'll be there. But if it's an in-game event, it'll have to be lowsec, I'm not fond of police. Or CONCORD for that matter.

Hey, just found this thread.
I Live in the Kenmore area. I'm up for a meet-n-greet with other Seattle area players. Just let me know when. My time is flexible anytime after 6:00pm
Just to through out an idea for a meeting place. How many people are over 21 and can meet at a bar? Or, we can go to a game shop that has computers. I know of one but it's in Redmond. Just an idea.
Let me know. If I come up with something, I'll let you all know too.

Ok, someone needs to start organizing this. Contact me in game, or write me email in game under the name Acoatain. I live in Indianola, Wa.. across the water, but I'm not opposed to driving to the Seattle area for a get together by any means. However, I would prefer a place outside of the Seattle area, as they don't believe in having parking spots for cars. :/
I am not sure of any gaming places, or do we really want to do that? We play the game at home, etc, and can do that type of stuff at our computers anyways. Would be more fun just to get together for a late dinner somewhere (party of like 6 to 8 people) and just talk about the game and our experiences with it. Etc.Etc. Contact me in game if this sounds like a good idea and those that are serious about getting together. I'll organize it, figure out a date/time, and make whatever reservations needed (if they are needed).

ACKK!! just revisited this thread a day to late.... I would have been there had i seen this earlier.
Hopefully you had a decent turn out. If you ever plan on something like this again, give a bit more than a few days heads up. I work in a shop that has 4 people actively playing and know of a few more that work in the same area. I'm sure that a few of them would gladly come to an event as well if we had a little more heads up time.
