starshipcommander Caldari Rhienland's Royal Guard and Industrial Center	Posted - 2008.11.27 17:12:00 - [1] im going to be getting a rokh soon and i want to know what a good loadout for it would be for mining. I also need a weapon or 2 because there are pirates in the system that my corp is stationed in and i want to be able to mine on my own and protect my hauler has he gets my ore so plz if you have a good load out that i could use plz post it ty awesome pic

TBH if you're not going to use all 8 slots for miners, this is the most ****ed idea because a Osprey will outmine this hands down, as well as handle any belt rats, this setup here outmines cruisers though. Problem is that without rigs you need to stagger your cycles and use jet cans or an orca because you can't fit a full round of mining yield. Even with the rigs I'm not sure it could hold a full cycle if drones were used. It's almost a travesty, almost. This setup is high sec only,tech I drones are more than a match for high sec rats. With my skills i can't fit an extra MLU, but i still pull in 1007m3 per min. I almost prefer the idea of having an expanded cargo over an extra MLU, as this will give u time to emty your hold. be prepared to be constantly moving stuff from your hold to a jetcan. If you start 2 lasers every 15 seconds, this will give you some chance of keeping those miners running. I've often found myself dashing to the toilet in a panic to try and make it back before damn hold fills. The roch is a great mining platform, but its small cargo hold makes it hard work.
