Edited by: Seaden on 29/11/2008 01:53:53 Okay, I knew this player that had a capital ship in low sec. He wasn't fitted witch was stupid on part but what I'm trying to get at is that something as small as a frigate could bump him and disrupt his alignment to get away from the other ships. What i am saying is that you need to fix this, there is no way logically that a small frig would be able to nudge a frigate, if at all anything the frigate would just bash into its armor and deal alittle damage but not make the capital ship.
Bottom line, Fit it, make it where if something is smaller mass then another ship then that ship will have to be bumped off instead of making the larger, heavier more massed shouldn't budge.

It'll bounce you into next week. Hence, avoid small objects in space. They're nasty!
The point is tho, that shouldn't be poss able. and 2ed of all, i didn't spam, posted once and that was it. Also do you not think its not logical? i mean we have a real working market... Aline times for our mass and such, don't you see it un-realistic to have something so small be able to send a huge carrier to move a few hundred meters?

Originally by: Leeroy Mabo You cant play EVE as an game as if its real world/space... Do you know how much energy is in a small object when it flies with 3km/sec and weights 1mil kg and has no abrasion (as it is in space...)? it would destroy your cap i guess...
t the point is that the small object should be the one to bounce off, the agressor not the ship being bumped into. For say, Target A is moving 50 M/S but target B is moving 75M/S towards Target A thus meaning that target B is the aggressor. Or just add collision damage to ship Vs ship and problem solved, that way a small frig will go boom be for long or will have to stop.

Yes suicide bombing would be awesome add on to the game, make it alittle funner and interesting!
Another thing as i said before the Carrier wasn't equipped, he didn't have training to use it yet but was moving it to another location.

Originally by: Vikarion The proof is simple. Fire a .50 bullet at an M1a2 Abrams tank. Which moves?
That would take place on the surface of the planet. Things also fall down instead of up on a planet. Proves nothing.
Could we get the tank into deep space? That may work.
There is no gravity in space to slow a bullet down, simply put why projectile weapons are out of date, a bullet fired will conteniue to move in space but at a point it will slow and other space properties will play into act there, like the flow of stellar wind.
AkRoYeR They may have shields but if a frigate is going X speed don't you think the shields of even a capitol ship would only be able to slow it down let alone stop it, thus making the small ship penetrate the shields thus dealing damage to the other ships Armor but even more to the frigate because of it being so small. Did you look that up in your book boy?
Terraform not if its going fast enough too penetrate the shields then simply put it would crash into the ship dealing a large amounts of armor damage but i don't think even a Destroyer would be able to penetrate the thickness of capital armor
Karille ............ ROFLMFAO!
