I have been "pirating" for a couple weeks now and most of my customers log off when I scramble them. Now, I can understand that a little nub ass pirate wannabe like me can be a really scary sight on your screen but ffs people, try to understand that when your ship is scrambled, it is as good as a loot can if you log off. And, if your purpose is to save your pod and implants, don't log back in 10 minutes later, the odds are that there's someone to catch your pod when you log back in. There's no point of being angry with me if I scramble your pod and you log off again just to find youself at the clone station when you log back in the next time. Grow some ********* people.

Funny, I'd say about 80% of my customers log out the moment I smack the scramble button. I do think its lame, because whats the point of tolling people logged out? ______________________

"Customer", until I read this post I thought I was the only one that referred to prey as "customers". Class man

Edited by: eddie valvetino on 12/07/2004 15:35:35 I have to say, that much as I flame pirates for not staying around for a fair fight, I think it equally poor to try and "scam" your way out of a fight by logging
If you're big and hard enough to go into 0.0 please have the guts and honour to stand and fight... all this does, as Liu says is make it easy for them.
Guys stand and fight or have a travel set up packed with WCS and MWD.

My personal favorite is when pirates scramble me at a gate and I serve them a fresh stack of missiles. Unfortunately, I've yet to encounter a pirate that had anything of worth on them.

my fav is running 7 WCS and 3 MWDs on my mega and laughing at them as they try and scramble me. Then picking next BM lighting up all 3 mwds, 5 seconds to align and i'm gone

Indeed, however, the reason for this post was not just to tell people it's not nice to log out, but to point out that when the ship/pod is scrambled, it's too late to do it. (even if you log out before a ceptor has started to lock you, it might be too late.)
Edit: I can't type

agreed...over time I've seen all types of people log when facing destruction. I'd say about 50% of our customers try logging. 99% of the time it doesn't work but they try. ------------------------------------------------
