Since the reasons have already been mentioned on Scrapheap forums I may as well say the reasons for the current campaign here.
Tri never wanted Vale, ever. It was a means to an end, to get really good combat as it was slap in the middle of a hot zone. But we knew at the beginning that Vale was a dead end both financially and militarily as far as expansion goes.
About 4 weeks ago GODS were approached by us about the possibility of Tri moving into one of their constellations and setting up home there and helping defend Deklien as a team, we knew that (and I know some Tri will disagree with this) when Bob inevitably left the Vale area that there was no possibility of hanging onto our space there in the long term as NC would steamroll us as were most definitely on their doorstep.
Initially the resonse from GODS was favourable so we deployed a tower in Ya0, as it was deployed though and GODS got the DED mail we realised that the general membership of GODS had no idea what was happening so we held off on deploying any more towers in any systems as at the time we were blue and we didnt wish to alarm their general membership.
However pretty soon it became clear the inital favourable response we got was not gonna carry the day and no deal was going to be struck.
So about 2 weeks ago in a meeting we had to ask ourselves why were GODS blue to us? They had given practically no help in our defence of Vale and were obviously averse to having Tri move to Deklein. In our eyes there simply was no good reason for them to be blue so they were informed last Monday that they were being reset.

Tri never wanted Vale, ever. It was a means to an end, to get really good combat as it was slap in the middle of a hot zone. But we knew at the beginning that Vale was a dead end both financially and militarily as far as expansion goes.

They had given help in our defence of Vale some of them even helped in Fountain where we just left for vacation and lost the damn region and we were obviously averse to having Tri move to Deklein. But since Darkness is an emorage monkey we decided to backstab them anyway.
At the same time that it was decided to reset them it was also decided that Deklein had always felt like home more than Vale ever did and that yeah we wanted it back. I'm sure GODS will make it difficult but good things are worth fighting for.

If they needed help we were there, even though the space they were taken had already been deserted for the most part. But when it came to helping us against 500 man blobs and constant attacks they were no where to be found except for 1 occasion. And even then the gang was formed and run by someone who is now in Tri.
Atlas is 100x the Allie that Gods ever were or had any intention of being, and we got tired of the same old we will be there next week story. For 3 months straight it was always next week, we are shooting a tower, next week we are taking an undefended station, next week we are attacking ME. While I have no doubt the average Gods member was never told about our situation, the leaders were and they had no interest of helping. With friends like that I would rather have none.

They don't care who will win, atleast they will come when one of us is left in Deklein weakened and steamroll the winner. Think about what you're doing next time please. The truth, if they left dek to come out to the real fight when you guys asked, they would have fallen apart internally before anything else. The amount of whinging was incredible and people started pulling out..3-4 corps + random members.
Also, let me provide you with the real results of their "excuses"
1. next week, we are shooting a tower - shooting the czd towers that WI left behind because, admittedly, we couldnt defend them when certain "allies" of our own failed us.
2. Taking undefended station - 1ix? LOL. You never had a chance.
3. next week we are attacking ME. - While they were in tribute/vale with everyone else helping their allies.. and even this didnt come to anything more than a couple forum post about their towers.
Simple fact is this, when your allies needed you, you decided it was better off to camp in 1ix, lose a bunch of towers, and smack in local. Whats worse? You kept doing after we deployed to tribute. rofl.

This would have been a very smart and tactical thing to do, reinforcing the region further. GF have always known they would be next on the steamroll as soon as the GBC would leave Tribute, their director forums said as much.
I've been reading their director forum for a good 1.5month now and I can tell you the reason your deal didn't is because of some of the worst alliance leadership I've ever seen, worse than what I witnessed at the end of ASCN, and the exec board of IAC when TT fudged it good.
The alliance is ran as a supposed council but there is no discussion about anything and insiders told you a lot of the comms is done via eve-mail in-game among a few individuals.
This would obviously lead to communications problems. If the GF leaders were as active on their own director forum as they are smacking COAD this would have been an entirely other story.

It does seem fellas are on the forums a awful lot. While i understand psychological warfare is just as important in game as on the forums. fellas have always had a air of self entitlement most dont think you deserve.
Yes Tri smacks, ALOT, however they are a respected and capable pvp alliance that is aware of there limitations. They dont do huge fleets and thats ok. They excel at skirmishes and small fleet.
Yes Goons smack even more. However they have the in-game power, players, isk and territory to assert the claims.
Gf's problem is putting the cart before the horse. You took Deklein riding on the coatail of uncle bob and immediately CAOD exploded with gf's awesome posting. The player base isnt to blame but poor leadership and direction are the reasons. Any CEO worth his salt would have a contigency(sp) plan for every situation and the ability to adapt when the unplanned happens.
If Tri and the NC are pointing to Gf's leadership(or lack thereof) as to blame some serious house cleaning is in order. But that may not be a issue as you should be in empire shortly.
Your GODLY perception of your alliance is extremely flawed and your arrogance is almost laughable.. even for CAOD

Gf's problem is putting the cart before the horse. You took Deklein riding on the coatail of uncle bob and immediately CAOD exploded with gf's awesome posting.

We was neutral to BOB when we took Deklein or do you think the fights between GODS and BOB was just fake? Later we fought togehter with them against the NC because the enemy of our enemy is our friend. If we would be BOB's pets, why are we still in Deklein and not with BOB at the Goons? Wouldn't make a sense, would it? I don't know how you came to the idea to think that BOB helped us with taking Deklein. At least we did it alone and nap'ed BOB later.

GODS were neutral to BoB when they claimed Deklein (not took it) but the point is BoB had just rolled through there pretty much totally destroying Iron's POS infrastructure etc.
GODS really just cleaned out remnanmts of alliances whose real hold on the region had been broken by the MAX campaign some weeks earlier.
Kinda like looting houses after an earthquake :)

That was the official story, but Sacul had discussions already under the table. For the short time you were blue to BoB, do you think it came out of nowhere? Can't prove any of it of course.
The problem most people had was the constant gloating about G0ds taking Deklein when BoB had done all the heavy work. That ticked a lot of people off.
Had WR3CK not joined GF they would probably be back in Empire already. WR3CK deserves a better alliance leadership.
Also begs to ask: they've been mining two dozens high-end moon worth dozens and dozens of billion for over 5 ot 6 weeks now? And they started offering replacement ships around 2 weeks ago...looks like Sacul and the other MOWE directors are getting their pockets full and will let the rest of GF die a slow painful death...
Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

MAX came through and overwhelmed a ton of alliances. Some of those alliance were residents in Deklein your current/former home. Im not sure you quite get the idea that you would not have Deklein if BoB didnt start max.
The lotting after a earthquake example is on point. But cheer up. You now have the ability to defend your home as easily as you took it. After all MAX had absolutly nothing to do with reds taking deklein. Rite?

No, that's what actually happened. Regardless of what secret negotiations may or may not have been going on, that's how it went down. Please note I'm not defending emofellas here, it was a very boring way to take a region, and was clearly motivated by greed for high end moons.
That same greed is now causing GODS to go emo and complain about Tri attacking, because now they're all butthurt they're going to lose their isk printers. When really an alliance like GODS should be welcoming the chance of fighting someone of similar size.
GODS vs Tri has potential for some really good fun fights for both sides, that's what both those alliances are/were supposed to be about, so surely it's all good?
If I was in GODS I'd be thinking "thank god we're going to get some good fights with Tri before we ultimately get blobbed out of this region by the NC".

sure we helped Tri as much as we could. The point is we can't get out of Deklein at all to help you and you didn't brought your whole membership to us when you helped us. Somehow it is forgotten that we helped you and now you see just your help you offered to us. Maybe there are some missunderstandings here but at least we helped you.

Endeva seems to be his alter ego and most smacktalking tards are in MOWE, hence my comment.
My post taken from their forums was a WR3CK director mentioning what a ****** he makes the alliance look in COAD, so Sacul seems to be the exception to what is a good bunch of PvPers.
