Not too long ago, it was MoO, more recently 0utbreak(corp of the year, lol) and BoB, and recently Tri before failure cascading. I think even LV at one point was the omg FOTM. Whats the current FOTM alliance/corp? A brief history as I see it for 2008 January = Superfriends February = Tri March = BoB April = PL/0sht Summer = Max/BoB with Tri August = AAA? September/October = PL, lol shrike November = Goons? December = ??? I think PL is now the most elite alliance in Eve, probably comparable to MoO was 4 years ago. Overall, I'd give them FOTM 2008 seal.
