I think unlimited trials are a great idea, once you've converted to paying though perhaps that time period should end.
The limits on trials are substantial already, the intel they can provide is quite high though. |

do ccp antibot measures work?
To some extent. You cannot get away with 23.5/7 botting any longer. I suspect botters have to use multiple accounts, switching as needed, and hiding their IP address.
Also a bot known as "roid ripper" went away. CCP killed it.
Ive seen players post that the number of null sec systems with fantastic NPC kill numbers has dropped to about what could be supported by actual players,
So CCP is doing something. But Im sure they can do more. They need to stay on top of the issue, improving their methods as the bot writers make better bots.
Now: F2P:
If somehow CCP could make flying one pilot free, then charge for each additional pilot who can fly at the same time, and charge for each who trains, then we could buy what we want, and if we run out of money at least play.
Edit: Some sort of posting glitch. Oops. CCP employees should never proclaim a feature to be awesome. Only subscribers should. |

Every now and then, there's a bot that gets eliminated. Seems to be mining bots for the most part. Probably because they're the easiest to spot. Now if they could just do that with ratting / mission bots and market bots as well, it would be nice. |

They already have a decent set of restrictions on the game: trial mode. I think it could do the game a world of good to remove the 14 day restriction on "trial" accounts.
Anyone who doesn't want to pay can play just fine, they just can't use T2, T3, mining barges, caps, and a dozen other things, but they're still flexible enough to be able to fly a decent ship in a fleet or run some higher level missions. |

Of course it is "someone else is paying" is precisely what "free" means in this context.
Malcanis' Law: Any proposal made on the basis that "it will benefit new players" is invariably to the greater advantage of older, richer players. |

Well free to play is technically already here. Now all CCP has to do is throw in the much anticipated gold ammo and game breaking items that we all want. Then it'll be moar tears for me to drink! \o/ |

Honestly I think this is just a very round about scheme to get CCP to enable training all characters on an account at once. |
