I get what you're saying but bigger ships do have more slots.
Frigates - mostly 4 highs
Cruisers - mostly 6 highs
Battleships - mostly 8 highs
Then destroyers and battlecruisers were brought into the game.
What I would like to see is instead of more slots, just real dual and quad guns. So a battleship could fit a gun that had 4 small weapons, that tracked like small weapons and they could use the ''charge rate'' value that all guns have and set it to 4 S charges per volley.
The issue then is we end up with BS with 32 small guns tracking frigates and generally mincing everything because that will be a fair lump of fast damage that will hit just about any target. In fact if a megathron used faction ammo in small neutron blasters and could use 32 of them, it would deal 1440 dps before damage mods.
And that's why my idea can never happen. - Adaptation is not an excuse for lack of ballance! -

Well, if his post was more ligible(Yeah I read it, but it takes 3 times longer to do so) it'd get his point across easier and avoid the responses on how atrocious it is.
Also, insulting ccp for getting their product incorrect according to a tv show/movie's depiction of a similiar thing within a totally unrelated and different universe... yeah.
As for a BS faultering to a smallership, yeah it happens, but this is where support comes in. You don't see them deploying battleships in real life(not that they do anymore afaik) without any sort of smaller support. You can also fit smaller weaponry on your BS with a bigger tank if you so wish, so it kinda solves that issue. That said, it does kinda seem he hopped into a bigger ship assuming it'd be much better, which we know it's not how eve works, bigger isn't always better.

You can look at it this way even. An unsupported (real life) battleship is easy prey for a submarine (see: U-9, USS Archerfish, IJN I-19 for examples), minelayer (see Nusret), land-based aircraft (see Force Z), carrier aircraft (too many examples, but look up Yamato and Musashi), torpedo boats (see Muavenet-i Milliye), etc - all these examples have one thing in common: light forces destroying vessels tens of times their size, without suffering any losses of their own.

English is not either my first language. It is my third. And I would want to see you guess which my first and second is.

No, seriously. This sort of stuff should be counted as spam, disregarded and done away with quickly in the first place. It's fairly obvious that the OP is searching for a different sort of game. My knowledge of alternatives is scarce, but I'd say he can get off on Homeworld 2 for a bit while searching for something better.
