Does anyone have any information on the "Bombs" that are on the inactive market under ammunitions/deployables along with the now useless mines (since no launcher fires them now, grrrrr......).
Anyway the bombs look AWSOME!!!!! 150 damage, 1.25km explosion radius ::drools:: But how do they work? They seem to have a 10 second flight but no speed is specified. I'm assuming they are gonna work like dumbfire missiles that fly straight ahead and then just make a huge boom, either that or they are deployed and then fly at enemy ships in proximity for up to 10 seconds then blow. Either way a mine/bomb field with be something to fear. THANK YOU CCP!
Although we have heard of stupid haste in war, cleverness has never been associated with long delays. |

I really hope not because I enjoyed using mines alot and now I can't even use them. Not only that they are teasing us by showing us these new bombs lol j/k.
Please CCP we need a mine launcher in addition to these new missile launchers.

Last I read Helmar was saying that mines might be moved over to being a deployable for defending player owned stuff.

I bet they'll be like the energy bombs in Elite, since they took alot of ideas from elite. |

You say that like Elite was full of original ideas.
It wasn't.
Most of them were pulled out of sci-fi stories which pre-dated it by 30 years. It did, however, make a superb job of meshing those ideas to form a radical and ground-breaking computer experience.
There are very few original ideas in sci-fi games, but that doesn't make them bad. ______________________________________________
Never argue with idiots. They will just drag it down to their level, and then beat you through experience. |
