EDIT: I'm assuming that rate is monthly but will payment be made monthly? If not can we expect it to compound or are getting rate*6 at the end of 6 months?

Chapter 2 ū Business Plan
The 8 Billion will be used to complete a contract in T1 production. I realize this is not completely specific but what I will be doing is fairly common but has fairly defined markets and profitability. Even if the contract fails the market price for the products that are required can be sold easily in a very liquid market.
The money will be used for a mix of BPOĘs and minerals to run continuous production.
This contract is independent from Cosmoray Construction which I do not want to expand at this time, and is in a separate industry segment.
Chapter 3 ū Who am I (Trust)
Hopefully I am reasonably well known on this forum, as I have been annoying people here for over a year now. I am currently running a successful (I havenĘt scammed and I pay regular dividends) IPO called Cosmoray Construction launched for 16B ISK in June this year. Kazuo Ishiguro completed a successful (gave me a clean bill of health) audit on my above business operations.
These two reasons above are not enough for you to trust me. You need to make up your own mind. Do a search on eve-search and make up your own mind.
Do not invest if you are unsure about me or you do not have the spare capital to take part. If you have an interest rate minimum donĘt bid under it just because other people may.
Chapter 3 ū Dutch Auction
I will auction 80 bonds worth 100M ISK each. Any player may bid on a minimum of 1 and up to 10 bonds (100M-1B) The player must indicate the rate of monthly interest they will accept on the bond. All bonds will earn the same rate of interest. The highest rate of interest for the 80th bond (from bottom) unless guarantee is reached.
3.1 Interest Gaurantee
What is this you ask? Well I will set the lowest interest rate of the bond at 4.8% per month. The highest I will pay is 8% I have chosen this rate as I want to set myself a minimum rate at which I see my value in the market. I wouldnĘt agree that my credit rating is as good as RayĘs Bonds (4.5%) or SharĘs which is even lower.
Chapter 4 ū Audit
I thought about releasing my API code on the forum, which I realized wasnĘt that smart. I donĘt want to pick up a wardec for my logistics. Now if anyone wants an audit give me a shout and I will send the API code for the toons that will be used for this.
The audit is not mandatory, and if the money is raised without the requirement for an audit I will release the bond with preference to the players who do not need an audit. This will certainly be the case if the 80 bonds are bid on at the guarantee rate.
Chapter 5 ū Monthly Payment
I will pay interest via a dividend mechanism. I have created a holding corp. called CosmorayBond Manager with 8000 shares. 1 bond equals 100 shares. This makes the bond tradable. If and when EBank launches their market I will list the bonds there (if I can).
Chapter 6 - Bidding
Please indicate 3 things:
Number of bonds = 1 - 10 Interest Rate = Audit = yes or no

Rate will be paid monthly, via divs. NO compounding.
First payment will be Jan 1st and will be pro-rated for time bond starts.
Official bond will end June 30th 09.

Sorry about that.
Clearly, I have enough confidence in you to give you a no-questions asked 8B loan at 8%. Take it as a compliment.

Yes your bidding correctly.
You bid the amount of money you want and at a lower interest rate than previous bids until you want to stop

How about next time you ask for the amount you want at the % you want instead of this dutch auction nonsense. I hate dutch auctions and dutch ovens.

Appreciate that, but I don't want to be presumptious about the rate I can get. nothing would be worse than asking for 4.8% and not getting it.
It is upto the buyer to aacept what rate they will take also. As I set a minimum it was available from the start.

I think what Amarr was getting at is that giving the history of your offerings, posting history, etc.. dealings and what not it was a pretty well given you'd get 4.8 |

Wow, not looking to get into a fight with you (as we seriously dislike each other) but this statement was a bit... ... irresponsible. Originally by: Proton Power In my research 55% of the time this is a scam.
Your research is incomplete. You didn't factor in the known success factor. However in your case, with so many abandoned projects, perhaps past history is something you need people to forget.

Here come the low blows. You know Shar he has only had one abandoned project right?
Bit of an over-dramatisation of "so many".
I agree his post was harsh or sarcastic (can't figure out which) but at least it wasn't a lie... |

I figured one low blow deserves another. And I'd rather not get into the debate of what over dramatization is more appropriate. How many is it? 1? 2? Any we don't know about in addition?? The point is this: If he doesn't want drama directed at him, he needs to learn to stop shooting his mouth off. PS: You could also learn that lesson yourself. For instance, instead of immediately saying I'm lying why don't you either say "Shar, I think you are mistaken" or even just with the "What projects are you talking about?" However that doesn't serve your needs or your inclinations.

Quite possibly, but the OP has raised a sizeable amount previously with successful returns on that for the last 3 months, so while the risk might be elevated based on the initial proposal given the history behind it, I'd say there is a mitigating factor there. |
