So I'd just finished mining when I thought I'd loot and salvage some of my wrecks in the belt, when I return I see a guy flashing red and since I never attack anyone I thought why not. I had a salvager but I also had two rocket launchers, not really expecting to win I started firing and to my surpirise.. I won! "Yay" I thought, I actually blew something up.
As I'm not the evil pirate type I was about to contact him and send him some money for his losses, thinking the killmail was enough for me but when the chat window opened I recieved quite a shock:

The funny thing is, the IP wasn't even mine. Most likely it's his, or he made it up.

What I want to know is why people take this so seriously? If I hadn't blown up his ship maybe he'd turn out to be quite a polite person? I think if anyone can flip out like that then they need some serious mental balancing.

From the way he speaks of himself he seems to believe he's some kind of hacking, murdering covert CIA-FBI-MI5 supersoldier capable of unleashing ungodly amounts of harm upon his enemies.. though he sounds like a 10 year old that watches too many movies.

You really need to petition that and make sure he gets the individual attention he so dearly desires.
While dealing with people over the internet can lead to some really interesting people you can also run into a lot of drooling spaz monkeys.

I'm about as far from the "blowing other people up" type as one can be (indeed, I seem to have been blown up myself far more because of my own foolishness at times...) but please add me to the list of folks who'd like an in game mail with a name. I've recently been itching to ditch a bit of my sec status and this seems both a timely and a worthwhile excuse to lose it. Ruthless pirate, carebear, whatever, I think we all can agree this kind of thing is garbage and needs to be handled rather forcefully. Though having said that, I'm sure CCP will take immediate steps to rectify this situation. Here's to hoping though...

I really wouldn't worry about this, it's probebly a 12 year old that thought up this crap idea to get back at you after he cried he's little eyes out after he's ship got blown up.
The internet is full of tards like these, because they can hide behind a computer and not be accountable for their actions.
Personally I would start having fun with him, sending him mails like: "OHH GOD, please man stop this! I'll do anything... me and my mothers PC broke down!" and then "I'll do anything! I'll even send you money in real life" --- "or if you don't have a bankaccount, I'll give you my adress and you can ask your phyciatrist to bill me."
or just petition and then block him.

I think the way he spoke to you in the convo and the Eve mails is completely unacceptable. I personally hope he gets perma-banned for it. Had you been more sensitive or gullible, stuff like that could really scare you. There are children playing this game - stuff like that gets the internets a bad name.

I think you should rethink about causing his ban. After all, as you can see from the reaction, most of the people would actually love to meet him and be treated in same manner, receiving such hatemails etc. If he gets banned the rest of us here will be denied the chance.
Other than that... AWESOME.
