You do have all skills that help with tracking / explosion radius? (didn't catch what you were flying)
As suggested, a bunch of warrior II's will certainly help you. Drone skills are your friend here again.
If you have a spare highslot then a smartbomb could go in it. Or you could fit an ECM burst. Worse case? WCS

A battleship should be able to tank three frigates.
5x light drones should take out a frigate.
Webs should slow a frig down for added damage.
Or am i mistaken?
