I'm thinking of starting a Credit Corp, in which i loan money out to Corps or alliance. I would make my money by the interest i charge when they pay me back. I have 3.6 Billion to start with, is it a good idea?

It sounds like a great idea... I for one have an alt in a one-man newly formed corp that is willing to take you up on that first 3.6 bil loan, to use as start-up capital for the new corporation.. ;-)

I wouldnt have a problem with that, but if im loaning money out i have to stay with colatteral of yours that i can rely on just incase you or anyone doesnt pay!. Something worth about the same amount you want. IDK im thinking this through now, i first need to get my corp skills up.

It could be a good idea, if you can work out any trust issues and if you make sure every loan has sufficient collateral. It is a very risky business, you have to make sure you're not getting scammed. Also the interest rate would have be set just right to make it worthwhile for you while still being able to find people willing to pay it.
(By the way, this is the skills forum, perhaps you should ask for the topic to be moved to Market Discussions. You'll probably get better responses there if they're not too busy being elitist  .)

I have problems figureing out how you would have collatoral in Eve. If something is worth being used as collatoral, and has to be given up to you to hold for your security, why would anyone borrow the money instead of just selling the collatoral item? In real life, collatoral works because the borrower maintains use of the collatoral (be it a car, house, whatever). In eve, there is no way for you to reposess the collatoral once the borrower stops paying, so you'd basically be out your money on every loan.

True that why im still thinking on how to plan this out. Its not easy, but i know its possible. EVE should come out with a credit system, because some ships are almost impossible to buy like Titan's and Mothers. So how can i insure people are going to pay me back 100%?

Do some research around the MD forums.
There are already a number of services that offer loans out to people and if you factor in all of them and the wide range of loan options available, it is very difficult to get into that niche of the market, but i wish you luck if you try :).
Off the top of my head, Ebank offer loans, BMBE do loans, and although Dynasty Bank touch on loans, they dont have as much focus on them as the previous corporations.
