This makes no sense. I play video games with my friends because killing them is fun. I care for them a great deal but I still like sniping their heads.

Eve just shows us the huge potential and its reach into RL. I wouldn¦t go so far to call it a dating service, but its definitely about friendship.

Seriously though, I have tons of good friends that are enemies ingame, we still get on excellently. I'm sure its the same for most people. Cant see why you quit your alliance over it.

There is nothing wrong with putting feelings into the game.. However, i think there is more to it than that. But not always everything comes up to the surface, and doesn¦t have to. More drop offs will follow, and have done so recently.
I agree CA has some good people within, that is honorable and fight fair. But as an alliance, i see a lot of problem, and that is why our corp stands outside alliances.
I think you made a good decision, whatever reason lies behind..
